Pros:

Lovely clean hotel, very nice daytine staff - girls on reception and on the bar. Very comfy big bed - good sized room, excellent shower, housekeeping visited daily, bus stop right outside and great location for the university.

Cons:

Night porter one evening wasnt very pleasant and breakfast times in the week quite limited.

Pros:

Great location to visit the Herriot Watt University campus. Clean, welcoming, modern with relaxed atmosphere and perfect dining options. Friendly staff top it off.

Pros:

Lovely hotel, spacious, clean, friendly staff, massive beds

Cons:

Was further away from Edinburgh than we anticipated - other than that, would highly recommend

Pros:

The quiet soundproof room with comfortable bed is amazing, the walk-in shower has the right amount of water pressure to be utterly relaxing

Cons:

The breakfast is a tad hit and miss, it could be hotter overall.

That and that there's not enough instant coffee in the room are my only, minor, complaints

Fabulous hotel great family stay
Pros:

Fabulous hotel, staff friendly and very comfortable stay. Very easy to catch a number 25 bus into Edinburgh city. Our family room was great size and had the bonus of a bath and separate shower too.

Cons:

Only thing i would say is the pillows were big and didn't find them very comfortable but bed was fab.
