Pingyao charmer!
Pros:

Traditional hotel within the city wall. Our room
Was so lovely. Staff were very nice. Suggest you get them to collect you from the train station - fun way to arrive. The courtyard was a lovely place to relax in the afternoon.

Atmospheric, authentic and beautiful.
Pros:

Not only is this hotel located in a fantastic spot within the ancient city walls, nothing was too much trouble for the friendly, professional staff team. They organised pick ups, recommendations for restaurants (all great), massages, breakfast for an early departure and even a haircut. The rooms are authentic, beautiful and comfy. It’s an atmospheric historic building and we enjoyed a quiet afternoon reading in the courtyard. Pingyao was fun and interesting, the main streets are busy but it’s easy to get away from crowds and there are endless fascinating historical buildings to visits away from the main attractions, Thoroughly recommend, excellent value for money.

A magical place to stay within the ancient city.
Pros:

The staff were very welcoming, providing me with lots of information as well as some welcome gifts. The hotel was amazing - like stepping back to the time of the dynasties, wooden beams, stone floors. There were comfortable places to lounge in the central courtyard (which the hotel cat also enjoyed!) My room had all mod-cons, a good shower with plenty of hot water, comfortable bed & toiletries. A magical place to stay within the walls of the ancient city.

Cons:

I was worried about the mosquitoes but the room had netting on the windows & an anti-mosquito plug-in.

L’accoglienza dello staff, la posizione dentro la città antica ma non nelle vie piu caotiche (vicinissimo alla salita alle mura), la particolarità della camera.
Offrono colazione occidentale o cinese a scelta, entrambe buone. Lo staff è vero punto in più di questa struttura, cordiali, gentili, disponibili e ti fanno sentire subito a casa

Ottima esperienza a Ping Yao
Pros:

Struttura meravigliosa, dimora storica di uno dei banchieri del paese. Conservata perfettamente! Location comoda nell’antica città di Ping Yao, ma in zona tranquilla. Personale disponibile e molto molto accogliente. Ci hanno aiutato anche nei transfer e nella visita della città. Ottima esperienza

Prachtig historisch gebouw en dito kamer. Lekker ontbijt. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Eigenares is zeer behulpzaam en spreekt excellent Engels. Prima douche.
