Location was good
There were too many capsules on my floor and the floor plan was confusing. There was a lot of competition for showers and toilets. The toilets and showers were housed together unlike the Shibuya location. Some of the toilet’s didn’t work. It was also noisy which I hadn’t experienced in the Shibuya location. The blind on my capsule was broken and difficult to close. I was supposed to spend 8 nights there but felt so uncomfortable being there that I left after one night.

The beds are very comfortable, I had one of the best nights of sleep. The amenities are very nice and the showers are very clean and accessible.
Beyond my expectation! Firstly from an accommodation perspective, the pod has a very comfortable mattress for a fantastic sleep, that also has a huge mount of storage underneath. Using the controller (not the iPhone version) I could have the bed perfectly flat to sleep, or have the bed in upright sofa position with room standing at the end of the bed to then comfortably stand or change clothing in privacy. Everyone was very quiet so it was very easy to sleep.
The location was outstanding. Close to bus, train and walking distance to everything you could want!

The reception staff asked for my credit card details?? And kept repeating not to break anything, otherwise I'll have to pay a fine. I'm a middle-aged man, why would I break anything AND not to pay for it?

This is probably one of the best hostels/capsule I’ve stayed in. Very social with free beer hour. Fantastic amenities. Convenient location. Very clean.

Exceptional location, right in the middle of Kyoto! Everything I wanted to see was within walking distance, or easily accessible by transit. I'm a finnicky sleeper and had zero problems with the lodgings. The sleeping quarters are dark and everybody is very quiet & respectful. The pod itself was probably one of the most comfortable sleeping arrangements I've had in my Japan travels - the bed is sizeable, pillows were cushioned, and my checked luggage comfortably fit underneath the bed. The breakfast was quite nice and the common area was great. My first hostel experience and the bar is going to be hard to raise after this! Thanks Millennials!
Location location location
Definitely the best hostel I’ve stayed at! Lots of amenities and facilities all of which are very spacious - such as shared kitchen (which has everything you need), lounge area, work space, etc. The capsule itself is spacious too - a double bed which goes into a sofa too. There’s plenty of under bed storage - I could store my large and small suitcases and there’s shelves inside the capsule too. Everything was very clean, modern and comfortable! Staff were very helpful too, and assisted in storing luggage which is very helpful. They have rental bikes available too. The location is excellent with great connectivity to all places and right on the main shopping area. I highly recommend this hostel!
