Not a 5 star hotel!

The location!

Cons:

To be honest, I thought everything was fine—until day three, when things started to unravel. The cleanliness is simply not up to standard. Despite multiple requests, the bedding wasn’t changed, which is unacceptable for any hotel claiming high standards.

The in-room tech was equally frustrating. The TV internet dropped out at least eight times, leaving us literally staring at the ceiling. The TV itself then stopped working entirely, meaning I couldn’t even sign out of Netflix. Even after staff came to “fix” it, they refused to log me out, which is poor service and basic negligence.

To make matters worse, I accidentally left my Bluetooth speaker behind after checkout. I reported it immediately, only to be told new guests were already in the room and nothing was found—which frankly raises serious questions.

This hotel markets itself as 5-star, but based on extensive travel experience across many hotels, this is nowhere near that level. At absolute best, it’s a 4-star and that’s being generous.

Proceed with caution if you’re considering staying here.

Muy bello, pero sin vista al mar desde pisos bajos y con puntos a mejorar
Pros:

El desayuno es excelente. Las instalaciones realmente son muy bellas y el personal en general súper amable. Está a metros de la playa de Karon, lo que también se valora mucho para el día a día.

Cons:

Tres comentarios puntuales:
1. Teníamos la Deluxe Suite Pool Access Sea View, pero el mar no se ve en absoluto. Los árboles son muy altos y tapan toda la vista, por lo que estimo que solo desde los pisos superiores se llega a ver ya que las suites con pileta están todas ubicadas en el primero. No nos quejamos porque no nos gusta crear conflictos y estábamos de luna de miel, pero lo cierto es que sentimos que pagamos por algo que no sucedió.
2. La bajada más directa a la playa es un camino de tierra, irregular, lleno de piedras y vidrios de botellas ya que da luego a una zona de street food. Tampoco está iluminada, por ende la verdad que es muy inconveniente. De día es apenas pasable, de noche vivíamos alumbrándonos con la linterna del celular. Para las mujeres, imposible usar cualquier calzado que no sea zapatillas o chato y con agarre. Creo que deberían pavimentar ese tramo o al menos garantizar iluminación y un mejor estado.
3. Tuvimos algunos inconvenientes con la limpieza del cuarto. Un día no lo hicieron y cuando volvimos aparecía como marcado el botón de “no molestar”, pero nosotros no lo habíamos presionado. Además no nos reponían las toallas, al principio teníamos como 5 de distintos tamaños, sobre el final de la estadía (estuvimos una semana) apenas teníamos 2 toallas grandes y nada más. Nos quedamos sin toalla para las manos por algún motivo que nunca supimos y en mi caso usando la misma grande para el pelo.

Территория очень очень маленькая, лежаки у бассейна всегда заняты, на ресепшен при заселении непонятно зачем берут депозит в размере 4000 батт, при выезде нам начали писать: - Где пляжная сумка? т.е. персонал не постарался даже её найти, не увидев на своем месте, и нам сразу начали об этом писать, хотя она лежала в ванной комнате. Я считаю, что это недоверие и неуважение к гостю, было неприятно.
Также есть момент с недопониманием. При бронирование мы указали питание »полупансион», но на деле оказывается, что на завтрак шведский стол, а на ужин выбор блюд по меню, ассортимент меню очень ограниченный, ты расчитываешь получить на ужин также шведский стол, но нигде об его отсутствии нет информации.
До пляжа в целом идти быстро - минут пять, но пляж «Карон» очень переполнен, русская Анапа.

Если не позвонишь на ресепшен и не попросишь уборку номера, либо не будет уборки, либо уборка будет очень очень не скоро.

We had a fantastic stay at Avista Grande Phuket Karon – MGallery. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt truly personalised, with the team going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after.

The resort itself is beautiful, with excellent facilities that made our stay both relaxing and memorable. A special mention to Head Chef Shishir and his team, who consistently checked in on us and thoughtfully personalised our dining experience, it really made a difference.

We were travelling with our toddler, and during our stay, the team was incredibly prompt and supportive in arranging a doctor on-site when needed, which gave us great peace of mind.

The housekeeping team was equally impressive, always prompt, professional, and attentive to detail.

Overall, this is a property that stands out for its service and hospitality. We left with such a positive impression and would absolutely return in the future.

Great hotel in a lovely location
Pros:

Great location close to many restaurants and bars yet felt very quiet and relaxed. Great rooms, bar and most importantly amazing staff! Pool bar staff and breakfast staff in particular just amazing

This is a truly an overpriced hotel.
It's just a standard hotel, nothing special even less with plastic grass in the pool, and just a massive building.
And the price, wow for Thailand I've stayed in a really luxuries places in less than what I payed here. I payed more than 14k a night for a room with 2 double beds facing somebodies home.
