Pros:

What they show on their website is not what it is in reality. The day I did the check in the person at the reception barely spoke English and was not very friendly.

Be advised when utilizing their transportation
Pros:

The hotel itself was very nice. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast convenient and tasty.

However, if you're utilizing their transportation service, make sure you know the location of it well. The transport from the airport I had arranged dropped me off at an entirely different area of the city, insisted that the hotel I was looking for was nearby, and by the time I realized he was lying had already driven away.

Thankfully the clerk at another hotel nearby was kind enough to call another taxi for me.

I would like to say that my experience in your hotel is not in our expectations as Wyndham Brand. We are also working in Wyndham property in Qatar and we never expected this kind of experiences. We booked in your hotel for 10 nights but shortened our stay because we are not comfortable staying in your hotel. The moment we check in from the reception no greetings and not informing us about the breakfast to make it short there is no welcoming and not even assisting us with our luggage. When we enter the room there is no bathroom amenities such as toothbrush. This is not a wyndham brand standard. We called reception if possible for a room move but the lady said the hotel is full, we are willing to pay additional cost to get a room move but declined. We called room service to order a coffee and the lady said we need to go down to pick up our coffee, I cancelled the order because what’s the purpose of room service if guest will order and guest will also pick up the order??? We went to reception to check if there is any place that we can go and the receptionist said search in Google. Really, is this how you treat your guest? Cleaning of the room we don’t know how they do the cleaning. We sent an email in your property on August 12 that we wanted to check out on 14th or 16th August because we are not satisfied in your hotel but we didn’t get a reply since the day we checked out on 16th August and the reception doesn’t even bothered to ask why we check out early. We are not looking for any refund. Lastly, I observed while waiting in the lobby around 8 am, your receptionist I didn’t see who but that person on that day was listening or watching something in the mobile that was so loud.

Overall, I can say that we regret that we stay in your hotel.

Good stay but very unprofessional service
Pros:

We had a very unpleasant experience at checkout at this hotel. We contacted the hotel afterwards but they never replied. When we contacted Wyndham about the incident, they just replied that the hotel is a franchise so it is not their problem.

We had a lot of luggage to carry to the train station so took a couple of suitcases out first and told the reception that we will be back in 10min. The room was paid the night before mentioning our early departure. The checkout staff said it is impossible to leave luggage in the room and refused to let us go, immediately accusing us that we may not come back and stealing something. It was the worst we ever faced in a hotel where guests are treated as thieves. The tone was very aggressive. He was quite adamant about the procedures and we obliged as we had no time to spare so brought all our luggage down. He took the room number whilst we left to drop the first luggage. We anticipated that he will do something in spite when we are away.

When back to get rest of luggage, he slammed the bill and said a churchkela is missing as he sent room service to check the room. I immediately understood that it was a setup so refused to pay and he finally gave in. After such a lovely stay where we gave a 5* review in the room feedback card, we faced this behaviour from one staff which gave us anxiety whilst we had to catch a train. Check in staff were courteous so we wouldn't mark the hotel down as it was very good stay otherwise.

Not At a Wyndham Chain Hotel Strandard
Pros:

Booked two rooms for found nights at the Tbilisi Chambers from the Wyndham portal, however, irrespective of my member status nothing seems to be working properly in this property. This is just a shortlist:

Property Issues

- The AC in neither of the rooms were working at night and we got up sweating
- The WiFi is terrible and you have to go to the corridor to get a decent connection. It was so terrible I had to get an mobile phone line to get any kind of work done
- One of the rooms did not have electricity in the morning and while it was fixed it does not seem to be working even at this hour.

- Utter lack of professionalism by the staff here. It took them 15 mins to check us in and the worst is when I went down to complain about not having electricity after being out the whole day, the two front desks were joyfully smoking there cigarettes and did not have the basic courtesy to come and speak to me from a reasonable distance but rather preferred talking to me standing outside the main entrance as they were unwilling to throw their cigarettes.

- Located in old Tibilisi around close to the railway station. Not the best place in town esp. after dark with mostly drunks and women of ill repute roaming around t.

The employees does not seem to understand service culture which seems to be lacking in the Georgian citizenry in general.
