Great resort for family!
Pros:

The food is excellent! The staff are super friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the pool and the showers have hot water which is great. I liked that I was walking distance to all the bars/restaurants, but far enough if you want some quiet time away from the noise.

Cons:

Not complaints on the resort itself. Just that it's not exactly on the beach, but you can walk a couple minutes to the beach (though it's very rocky).

Amazing stay!
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay so much! The location is perfect, just a short walking distance to the beach, as well as restaurants and shops in El Tunco, which made everything very convenient. Our suites were spacious, clean, and very comfortable with cool bocana views. Breakfast was included and was delicious, and we loved spending time relaxing by the pool.

A special thank you to Salomon and Mario at the reception. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay, from the moment we arrived until our departure. Their hospitality truly made our experience even more memorable. Mil gracias por todo!

Pros:

Perfect location, close to restaurants and beach. Very nice pools and restaurant with view of the river. The room was big and clean. The breakfast delicious and the staff very friendly. I can't say a single bad thing about this place.

A TOP CHOICE FOR THE LOCATION
Pros:

For local standards, this hotel was very nice. For USA standards, it still has a ways to go. Not super clean,also because of the “tropical climate” we were told the large red ants in our room are expected.

The staff is really nice and accommodating. The breakfast is nice too. The location is a short walk to SURF CITY area.

This is a solid choice for El Salvador and definitely the most premium choice for the area.

Clean room. Excellent grounds close to town but secluded

Restuarant- starter came same time with meal but cold. Ate half. Server always preoccupied on his phone. Oblivious wanted more drinks but never happened

Dreamy vibes, great food, comfortable rooms, wonderful two pools.
Pros:

The included breakfast options were varied, but I only ate the "typical" breakfast because it was so good. The meal comes with fresh squeezed OJ and local coffee. AMAZING. The restaurant is really good and fairly priced. The drinks at the swim up bar can be lethal so be careful with those doubles- I speak from experience. My favorite was the mango-colada. The vibes at the pool are so good. There are families, couples, solo travelers, great music going and amazing customer service. I like that the property is tucked back on the bocana of the river so you're a little removed from the Tunco hustle and bustle but still close to the beach.

Cons:

We checked in on New Years day so they were a little short staffed. Check in was chaotic and the hours of all the things were given verbally which would have helped if we could reference later. We were short a set of towels which was kind of a bummer because we wanted to head straight to the pool and it took some time to get what we needed. The thing that really sticks out is they came to our room at night and asked our tween daughter about the bar tab. I felt like they could have called the room or come by in the morning. I didn't like that they knocked in the dark and started asking my daughter about the bill. It made her feel unsafe. Luckily we were nearby and went to reception right as it was closing to take care of it.

Beautiful grounds, amazing staff
Pros:

Staff were incredible, especially Jonathan at the front reception. I don’t think I ever saw him without a smile and he was very helpful arranging transportation and providing guidance.
The food at the restaurant was good quality and a good selection.
Having road access to restaurants and shops as well as a shorter beach path was handy.
Nice games area with pool table, ping pong and purified water to refill your own bottle.
The grounds were well kept and housecleaning did a great job on the rooms

Cons:

We were there over New Year’s so expected higher rates but the amount we paid per night did not offer value for money compared to other hotels in the area. That said, if budget is not an issue, I would definitely recommend.
