Enjoyed our stay mostly. Definitely not 5 star, objectively 3.8 star is what you get. A major investment could get it b

Location was good. Room was nice. Extras left in the room and massages were great!

Cons:

It’s not 5 star. Maybe 3.8 by western standards. The facilities need some investment to refurbish. Hallways smell like mold and ammonia.

Holiday didn’t deliver the experience we were after. Soured by poor front desk behaviours in relation to holding deposit
Pros:

Could not fault the ocean view. The cafe across the road.

Cons:

Facilities not open as advertised. Only the pool bar and restaurant where breakfast and dinner were held. Not a great choice of dining opportunities nearby.

Wonder fun location and lovely pool and beach. Walking distance to night market.
Pros:

Beautiful pool, nice breakfast and good pool side food and drinks. Sea Food restraint was excellent and reasonable priced. You can trust the ice in your drinks! But don't drink any tap water in Vietnam or Cambodia. staff at desk was a little cranky, but overall had a great stay. Highly recommend the SPA. The daily massages that came with executive suite we fantastic.

Cons:

Front desk staff were not as gracious as other five star hotels we stayed in in Vietnam and Cambodia. But they did inspect our room on check out a noticed I had left my electric tooth brush. So for that I am grateful. Check in and check out are prompt!

Excellent stay
Pros:

Breakfast, pool, room all excellent. Bed soft. Location great.

Cons:

Not friendly check in staff. You are just another number. Maybe train them to smile and be friendly. This was the only let down.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel with nice pool, staff were friendly, breakfast was good !

Cons:

the safe was not working properly, had to get it fixed twice. The safe at this hotel was the first safe that I was struggling to get it to open or lock. Check out took 10 mins so just be prepared. Other than that everything else was good.

Disappointing Experience

We were very disappointed to be charged an additional fee because a face washer had some makeup on it. This seems unreasonable, as normal makeup stains should be part of routine hotel laundry unless the item is permanently damaged.

The charge left us feeling that the hotel was more interested in making extra money than providing good customer service. This has left a negative impression, and we would think twice before staying here again.

The staff were not very friendly or welcoming , did feel very welcome at all during our stay , at the end they wanted to charge us for a face washer and I was like ummm there is no way we would take a face washer and he is like well one is missing and I’m like we didn’t take one , after talking to them they finally agree not to pass on the charge , I would suggest to everyone to count all towels hand towels each day if they were going to charge you , we also had to pay for a glass jar that they placed on the edge of a chair with bath salts that my daughter accidentally knocked off , they didn’t care that it was a accident and that where they placed the jar it was bound to happen

Sensational stay at Seashells!
Pros:

We love the location, its facility and the very friendly customer service provided by the Seashells team. Right from the bellboy, the reception staff, breakfast buffet crew, cleaners and pool staff were exceptional, always ready to help.
We love the pool, spa and sauna too.
They even accommodated our special request to celebrate our anniversary with a slice of cake. It was yummy..

Cons:

The food served for breakfast everyday was exceptional, however there was very limited choices for vegetarian meals. All the food was catered for Chinese,Korean,Japanese background guests especially their daily special.
It will be great if they can add some indian variety or other Asian delicacy.

Another little comment is there was no iron In the room for the guests to iron and touch up the clothes. It will be so helpful if there was an iron.
