A lovely stay in St. Ulrich!
Pros:

A wonderful, small hotel on the main square in Ortesei/St. Ulrich... which is a delightful village in Val Gardena. The breakfast is very good and the staff are very helpful.

Cons:

Be aware that one side of the hotel is located along the busy roadway thru town... as a result, half of the rooms have routine traffic noise. Although it does reduce at night, it is still smart to have ear plugs to dim the noise.

Very Good With Some Nits.
Pros:

Location (+++) right in town center, price, room, ample breakfast, service. Room was spacious and well appointed, and bathroom had a great shower.

Cons:

Parking garage, though inexpensive, was a dump and difficult to park in tight space.. Spa hot tub was, at best, a luke warm tub, and small. No AC, as with most local hotels because of moderate mountain temperatures, but noise from road required closing windows when going to sleep.

Pros:

Staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. It was nice that there was a dedicated parking spot for our car. Location was PERFECT to walk around town and get to several of the key hiking locations we were looking to visit in walking distance. Also received local hiking trails from the staff! Breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Hotel familiar en los Dolomitas 🪵⛰️
Pros:

El servicio es excelente, todos los que nos atendieron fueron muy amables y serviciales. Desde un principio nos enviaron las instrucciones de acceso y estuvieron pendientes de nuestra llegada. Carmen y su esposo son una maravilla. Los desayunos estuvieron geniales. La ubicación del hotel se encuentra en plena plaza San Antonio, un punto central para realizar las actividades turísticas del pueblo. Las habitaciones muy limpias, ordenadas, con unas vistas increíbles hacia las montañas y todo lo necesario para una estancia muy agradable. Es un hotel muy familiar!

Charming hotel on the main street in town.
Pros:

This is a nice family-owned hotel. The construction and decor reflect the woodworking traditions of the area.
The staff are all friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is ample and includes scrambled eggs and a good choice of breads.
The weather was warm and they have fans available.

Cons:

The pillows are TERRIBLE! They are hard and flat. They need to buy down pillows.
