The Olympia offers a perfect location to explore this vibrant area of Benidorm Old Town. We loved it!
Pros:

The location is perfect!! It is central, and in the heart of the old town. With the possible exception of Saturday, noise was not a problem, despite being in such a busy location.
In addition, the rooms are larger than in many other hotels in Benidorm.
There is so much to see and do in this area and the hotel offers an ideal base.

Cons:

Overall, the hotel looks somewhat tired but I have three specific criticisms:
First, the bathroom in the balcony rooms is totally inadequate and, in my opinion, dangerous. To get into, it is necessary to negotiate your way between a wall and a static shower screen at one end of the bath. There are no grab rails and this is, I think, an accident waiting to happen.
As I have limited mobility, I was unable to get into the bath to make use of the shower. Sadly, I was advised that the bathrooms in all rooms with a balcony are the same. We were shown a bathroom in a room which didn’t have a balcony, and this was excellent.
My second criticism was the breakfast. It cost €7 but the cooked breakfast was served cold - not even lukewarm warm - and such a shame that fresh orange juice isn’t offered. In fairness, we only went in for breakfast once but better, and cheaper, options are available near by.
Last, with one exception, the reception staff do not acknowledge guests when they enter or leave the building! In years of travel, including many years spent in hotels in Benidorm, I have never encountered this before! The staff were, seemingly, too pre-occupied with paperwork to lift their heads and smile.

Great for a stag/hen based on location, wouldn’t use it for any other reason.
