Restful, seamless, great value for the price.
Pros:

This property is conveniently located a short taxi ride $6-7 USD from SJO airport and had staff available to check us in even after our late night flight arrival. The room was perfect for a good night’s rest after a long day of travel. It was comfortable, clean, quiet and an excellent value with delicious breakfast included in the quaint courtyard.

Cons:

I would recommend booking a room with air conditioning, if available. We did this but I imagine it would have been much less comfortable without air conditioning.

Gute Unterkunft für die erste und letzte Nacht der Reise
Pros:

Freundliche Mitarbeiter, die einem gut weiterhelfen. Konnten unser Gepäck dort lassen, während wir in Tortuguero waren. Das Frühstück war auch wirklich gut und die Gemeinschaftstoilette sauber. Die Lage ist super.

Cons:

War alles super insgesamt. Auf dem Bett waren vereinzelt Haare, die denke ich beim Beziehen draufgekommen sind. Das war für uns kein Problem. Das Zimmer ist nicht super groß, aber es gibt viele Ablageflächen und Haken, sodass man mit dem Platz gut zurecht kommt.

the history of the building and it's location

Cons:

we had to pay extra for parking car in their backyard that was very small. We didn't know that we had to pay around $10 for this parking per night.

Small water fountain next to the room was very noisy.

Room had only one key for two people.

gutes Holte für die ersten Tage in Costa Rica
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum von Alajuela. In der Umgebung gibt es alles was man braucht, Geschäfte, Restaurants, Bars usw. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist landestypisch einfach aber sehr lecker.

die Zimmer sind ziemlich klein, keine Parkplätze am Hotel

Amazing hospitality, great breakfast, clean, and comfortable
Pros:

Breakfast was delicious and filling, everyone was so kind, the courtyard was beautiful, great location in walking distance to restaurants, groceries, parks, etc. We really loved staying here and felt so at home.

Cons:

I honestly can't think of anything we didn't like. We were so happy with this place. They really went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and to make us feel welcome.Would happily stay there again.

Buen lugar si llegas tarde a San José y debes salir temprano. Cerca del Aeropuerto.
Pros:

El personal es realmente amable y me ayudaron en lo que necesité. Además me permitieron cambiar la habitación a una con baño privado porque tenían disponibilidad. Es un buen lugar para quedarse si estas de paso en san josé, pero no hay muchas cosas cerca. Yo tenía un coche y solamente me quedé en la noche y partí temprano a la fortuna. Es una casa antigua bien arreglada como B&B.

Cons:

El parking es un poco estrecho. Si tienes auto es importante reservar con anticipación.
