The whole experience was outstanding. The onsen was superb, the massage chairs and the free ice creams in the reflection room after were all such lovely touches. The bowl of ramen after 9 and the breakfast were brilliant. Such a relaxing place the only bad thing was having to leave.
We loved this hotel! The onsen was a great experience. It was our first time using one, so we really appreciated the clear instructions and rules provided. The onsen facility is on the smaller side, but still excellent. We loved the complimentary perks after bathing: ice cream in the evenings, a probiotic milk drink in the mornings, and massage chairs you can use to fully relax after a soak.
The overall hotel atmosphere is incredibly relaxing since it's a no-shoes property, and they provide comfortable jinbei for guests to wear. A huge highlight was the free evening ramen served from 9:30 PM! We also added the breakfast, which was absolutely worth it. There was a wide variety of Japanese specialties, and the desserts - especially the mochi and kuzu-kiri - were fantastic.
The only negative is that the onsen area is a bit small for the size of the hotel, so it can get crowded. I didn't mind too much, but it is worth noting that even at 4:30 AM there were already a few people in the baths, and it only gets busier in the mid-afternoon (around 3:00 to 4:00 PM).

It was clean and conveniently located; walking distance to Train Station, supermarket, restaurants, surrounded by variety of stores including 7/11. The staff were all so nice, very polite and courteous. We learned so much about the Japanese culture, from bowing for greeting, taking off shoes, bathing in onsen, etc. This is one of the reasons we picked this facility. We wanted to learn more about the culture and we did just that. Oh, and we can’t forget the breakfast buffet! It’s the best!!!
We could hear the trains as they passed by. This was the one and only thing we didn’t like.

We booked last minute after a slight change of plan. We wanted our first onsen visit to be great and it was. The hotel and staff were great and the onsen beautiful, tranquil and very Japanese... just like the hotel. A lovely experience and piece in the city.
