Great hotel. The staff were very attentive. Spotlessly clean. All the sights are within walking distance. The onsen are fantastic. We'll be back.

A calm, clean and welcoming Japanese experience.
Pros:

Perfect location across the street from the Nara JR station. 20 minute walk to Nara park. Beautiful hotel. Guests take their shoes off at reception and lock them into lockers. Tatami mats throughout the hotel and in the rooms gave the hotel a clean and calm feeling. Beautiful decor. Breakfast restaurant was excellent with a huge variety and well worth having..Welcoming and friendly staff. Onsen spotlessly clean with all the amenities you need to feel sparkly clean. Ice-creams to cool down after your onsen experience. Massage chairs were a real treat. I wish I could have stayed at this hotel longer. The best of the three Dormy Inn chain hotels we stayed in.

Cons:

Ask for a room away from the train tracks. The trains starts early in the morning. Absolutely perfect room and facilities. Well done to all the staff who work so hard!

En fait, nous aurions préféré un établissement plus proche de la gare de Kintetsu plutôt que de celle de Nara plus excentrée par rapport à nos envies de visites

Établissement très japonais. Nous devrions être les seuls occidentaux
