Nice grounds but very disqppointing for a 5 star hotel, and don’t bring your dog.
Pros:

Close to Calais; nice grounds to walk round. Common areas are nicely designed with fun furniture, sculptures and pictures.

Cons:

Very unappealing and pokey room; spiky chandelier so low I knocked my head twice and had to put a towel over it. Toilet ran constantly and was too high to sit on properly. Shower was a dribble, no water pressure. And not even a separate shower but a shower head in the bath. And all this in a 5 star hotel.
Even though the hotel accepts dogs (at an outrageous 35 eur per night), they are not allowed in the breakfast room, let alone in the restaurants, which are a long walk from the room. In effect, this hotel is no good for dogs.

Magnifique hôtel . Excellente cuisine
Pros:

L’ accueil , le cadre , le service au restaurant et au petit déjeuner.
Superbe chambre avec magnifique vue sur le parc.
Qualité des plats au restaurant « côté jardin ».
Très bon petit déjeuner.

Cons:

Le prix du petit -déjeuner( 35 euros!).
Pour avoir déjà séjourné dans des hôtels de la même gamme , nous n’ avons jamais payé une telle somme.
Pas d’ eau à disposition ( ou moyennant 12 euros la bouteille)
Climatisation non réglable.
Problème signalé à l’ accueil mais non résolu.

Pros:

Pool and sauna was nice especially when it is quiet. The friendly and accommodating staff. Food in the bistro. Facilities and garden. The self cleaning toilet.

Cons:

The mattress in our room was not good.

A beautiful Chateau not far from Calais providing a very relaxing stay
Pros:

The location is fabulous, as it is not far from the motorway in the countryside and not far from Calais. The accomodation is excellent, the staff are really friendly and helpful, and the dinner and breakfast are excellent. A lovely relaxing overnight stay. Thank you to the team!
