It was good enough for a sleep but basic key presentaion let it down
Pros:

Was good for an overnight sleep. Nicely refurbished and fitted out.

Cons:

Given the effort that had gone into the fitout, the cleanliness of my bathroom was not great. Hairs stuck on the shower cubical wall, and a loo brush covered with dried out damp loo paper ( where it had been put down the loo when paper was still in it).

Great little hotel
Pros:

The room was well-equipped with a small kitchenette (kettle, tea and coffee, microwave and sink) as well as a mini fridge and safe
Complimentary toiletries, extra towels and pillows, quiet and comfortable room

Cons:

Not even a dislike, but small details such as marked carpets and scuffed paint in places - but it didn't take anything away from the comfort and convenience of the stay. I could see why this might bother others but I don't mind.

The location is out of the city a bit, not a problem if you drive or if you know the bus/tram system however I didn't so I ended up walking 35 minutes from the train station, then around town for the night, then more than 35 minutes back.
Again, not a problem for me but I booked for the room value and not the location

If you don't like the travelling, pay to stay in the centre of town, if you don't mind a walk or hopping on public transport/drive, great hotel for the money with some traditional and some contemporary features

Lift didn't work to ground floor and no guidance on how to get there. Was lucky a guest told me.

Cons:

The £50 deposit I had to pay which had not been returned by mid afternoon.

Sort the lift
Pros:

Again a decent and keenly priced stay close to most parts of Nottingham I'm visiting.

Cons:

The lift is currently broken and you can use it to come down floors as the ground floor button is missing.
