Cons:

Dirty room, dirt down the side of the bed. Lifted mattress to see a brown stain and an empty snap bag

Pros:

Staff nice, food good

Cons:

Room lay out was awful. We had 2 loft bedrooms, that had a terrible smell, we think drains not until we went to bed did we notice
4 of us slept in chairs had the worst night sleep

Location only.

Cons:

The property was not air conditioned, no toilet roll holder, no amenities in the shower area, the ironing board was held together with a spoon( see photos) the iron looked as if someone had been cooking on it and the only 1x chair provided was severely broken. The staff were very unhelpful and it took 3x requests to get a fan, 4x requests ( 5 hours) to get a working chair

Pros:

Large room with open windows. Microwave and kettle working. Unexpected to have a microwave and a safe.
Nighttime manager said the daytime manager had met me and found me a room on a lower floor--only two flights to walk up and down. Good communication from daytime to nighttime staff. Appreciated the lower floor room.

Cons:

I came to check in around 1.30 pm, knowing that check-in is at 3pm. Daytime manager took my bag for storage. Very pleasant conversation, but I was in a rush.

Lift not working. Building is 7 storeys tall.

Television was not working, asked for someone to check it. They never did !

Also I would not recommend this area for solo Female travellers.

You can pay more and get less elsewhere. Decent for budget travel.
Pros:

A pretty good place to stop over if you’re travelling for work. Room had microwave, kettle TV, fan. All the useful stuff. Decent shower with soap &shampoo. No parking on site, but the streets around are practically empty when the students are away. Good value for money.
