Hotel room was spacious. Shower pressure was a little poor. Location very central. No parking at the hotel.
It was very comfortable
When we moved the chairs we found a lot of rubbish like false nails and stuff and there was hair in the bathroom
Nothing really, the TV worked.
We arrived at the hotel to find a police car outside (Saturday at 3pm). Reception was also closed, at check-in time. When it reopened after about 15 minutes they said police was due to guests causing trouble to each other. That was all the detail we got, other than it wasn't as serious as murder! Great! I then had to give a £50 deposit even though the room was paid for. I always feel like that's a terrible sign that you've picked a bad hotel. I wasn't wrong. The room was open when we got to it. Didn't even need the key card to get in. It was clean-ish, but the bathroom floor was soaking so I slipped on it. The smell of air freshener was choking the whole time we were there. Probably why the window had been wide open, but it was cold so I tried to close it anyway. That wasn't an option. It was the external window as there are 2 sets, but it didn't close at all, which meant both that it stayed cold, and it was noisy a;; night due to being in a student area and Saturday night. Not that I'd have slept if it was quiet as the bed was awful. The mattress was visibly concave, and so, so uncomfortable to 'sleep' on. When I got up the next day the shower didn't work at all, unless I was happy to use the weird spout thing that only washes your feet. The actual rain shower head and normal shower head had literally a dribble - like if you don't turn the shower off properly, but impossible to use to wash under. It's not central Nottingham either so it's quite a long walk or an Uber if you're visiting there, which we were.
Great shaggin surtoundings
The location was in a beautiful area, close to the 'Arboretum' - and plenty of beautiful old buildings and houses.
Heaven for me!
Close to the city centre, and a tram stop not too far from the hotel.
But you can easily walk into the city centre, and take in the beautiful architecture!
Only that the shower hose attachment needed tightening up - of which I informed the staff.
Was unhappy at not being served continental breakfast in the morning.
Helpful staff, great value and a central location.
Shelf next to bed broken, stained bedding, no 24/7 reception
Clean and comfortable ish
Room was stone cold, the cold hit me when I got back at 1am, heating didn’t work the therm button to the heat up was missing and the system was noisy
Nothing
Staff were rude, location was awful, parking was diabolical
Location
Fire alarm went off at 230 didn't get turned off to 330 crap nights sleep
Room was spacious and all was good
Breakfast - cold & overcooked is a new one on me. Not worth the £11.
Asked to order & reserve a time - nothing was ready - no hot water, pastries, yoghurt like advertised.
Fire alarm went off and it took 30 mins at least to resolve, no communication from staff, guests wandering round, rumour was it was set off by someone who'd lost their key. So we didn't evacuate 😱 very dodgy health & safety.
Room had a leak mark on the roof, a broken fridge and a kitchen stocked with two plates, 2 mugs, 2 knifes, two spoons and one fork - that was it.
As for the lights - i think Barry White had wired the switches up they made no sense.
Worst place to stay
They didn’t except guest but on the app they did
