DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Pros:

I had high hopes for this hotel. It’s not worth what we paid for. You’re basically paying for an overpriced cabin that has moldy toiletries, and really bad service. No one was even there to welcome you. This was by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed in the Philippines. Please don’t waste your time or money! If you’re in Alaminos you might as we’ll go to Thunderbird resort for the experience & great service.

Pros:

The place is very nice but the road heading to the resort was terrible and hard to find. The owner should spend the money and paved the road. Its very hard for the car to reach this place having unpaved roads. No wifi, very disappointing.

Bad stay due to staff error at most critical point
Pros:

We had an almost perfect stay until we have to check out where their staff found out 1 bath towel is missing. They ask us to pay 500 for the missing towel and so we did. My brother did another check in the room and the mssing towel was found at the back of the bathroom door. I think even lets say that the towel was missing, we were inappropriately being charged and even being acused of taking home 1 of their towels. From that last experience i dont think our family will be back there again. Its annoying and insulting how a RETURNING guests will be charged and acused just like that. Overall the place is nice but i think they should check their policy.

Pros:

The staff turned on the lights and the jacuzzi at the pool only when we asked them to. We weren’t advised about when the best time is to go to the beach. It was low tide when we went which was disappointing given the trekking that we had to take.

Nice place to unwind Cleanspecially with the kids

We enjoyed our stay, nice theme. Only drawback was hard to get to and no access to network.

Pros:

The only dissatisfaction we had was we didn’t have a WiFi and weren’t told that their WiFi was not available when my husband needed it for work and karaoke at the restaurant for dinner when we were hoping a nice family time dinner. Everything was great and beautiful! The services were superb!

A pity in the whole stay
Pros:

Room and facilities are good. No wifi still find it good for my boys. But it really inconvenient without any signal.GPS cannot be used which led to lost when we drove. It was a quite remote place.

I can see the heart and the hospitality of the owner. It impressed us. All the decorations are wood.

The restaurant was good. Just....a pity that we had an unpleasant experience on the food order and bill at the last night....

Close to nature
Pros:

It was an overall good experience far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you want seclusion . Being with nature this is the place, quiet, no TV exc DVDs , no phone no internet service. It was cool and elevated with a nice ocean view . Rooms did AC. Water heater goes on and off. My only complaint is that our bathroom did not well. Food was basic There was a few meters of dirt road to get to Hotel . I love how they built the units with reclaim woods and windows. Feels like you’re in a tree house.

Unique hotel, need wifi ASAP
Pros:

PROs: good for nature-lover, hiking to the beach, spacious themed rooms, great/friendly staff, great chef and good quality food, boardgames, DVD collection, good signage so you could easily find the place, great function space for wedding (highly recommended)
CONs: needs attention to detail on cleaning and upkeep of rooms, limited food in the menu and availability, no credit card machine (i had to settle the bill with cash!), rough roads on the way, weak water pressure in the shower
TIP; we could've stayed longer if there was WIFI available.

Beautiful space with gorgeous landscape BUT
Pros:

Nice place but getting to it through 6 miles of rough roads may not be worth it. Shady operations manager who either genuinely ignorant of Orbitz and tried to charge me regular rate by subtraction what I paid to Orbitz already. Secluded area so have to eat on premises. Food was expensive and small servings.
