This is a stunning hotel in the center of town run by a lovely, kind and welcoming family. A true taste of France! The hotel was super clean and grounds absolutely gorgeous. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Delightful hotel

We booked the La Gourmandine as an overnight stay on our way back to Caen to catch the ferry home. Our room, the Baldaquin, complete with a very comfortable four poster bed, was delightful and tastefully decorated. There was sufficient and secure parking. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. We had an excellent evening meal at the nearby ‘arlequine. On our return to the hotel we enjoyed drinks in the comfortably furnished bar. In the morning breakfast was excellent with a wide selection to choose from. We would highly recommend this hotel.

hotel sur le retour !!, avec des employés sortis de la maison de retraite plutôt que de l'école de tourisme !! , cadre dombien ,où il faut impérativement des bouchons dans les oreilles pour dormir . bref dans le bassin du jardin cela ferait aussi beau d'y mettre des poissons rouges que des grenouilles !, et c'est beaucoup moins bruyant .
