The place is quaint and I have enjoyed staying there before, but this time, was the worse I have ever been treated by anyone
I came in at 8 PM on June 17th to check into our room, we have stayed their before and loved the place, it is very quaint and on our other visits the people have always been so friendly.
The lady at the front desk did not seem to be to happy when I greeted her. She asked for my credit card and ID, I gave them to her and was talking about our last stay. She looked at the card and said she could not use it, because my name and my daughters name was on the card, and she needed both our IDs,
I explained it was our business card and it is the card I have always used. She refused, so
I gave her another card she said no to this card because it had my full name Valayo on it and I booked the reservation under Val, I told her Val in my nickname and I have always booked under Val, I showed her my ID and my credit card both had my full name and she could see it was me but she let me know because I booked under Val she could not use them. I told her these are the same card and ID I always use she tells me if you are going to stay here you will do it my way, do you want to stay here? I told her I have been driving for 10 hours and I am just trying to check into the room, she was very rude, my husband asked her if I reserve a room under Doug, and my card and ID say Douglas, I can not have the room, she snapped correct, My husband asked her if he could talk to a manager she said no, I am the only one here so you can talk to me. He asked for a phone number to talk to someone else saying that she was being unprofessional and he did not like how she was talking to his wife, she rudely told him no, he swore. She started waving her arms, yelling three times I have the right to refuse you service then told us to leave. I told her the room was prepaid, she pointed at the doors and said leave. We had to find another hotel 20 miles away and we were not refunded our money. I have never been treated so rudely.
The rooms were nice and clean. Beds comfortable. Thats what made staying here tolerable.
The staff was rude and unwelcoming to out of towners. They were kind and welcoming to the regular clientel though. The pool was closed and had been closed for quite some time. In dessert heat a functioning pool is a priority to me. Don't advertise what you dont have.
Location, bathroom with a products on the wall
The hotel was absolutely stunning!!
Kinda the location but it was quite so didnt bother me
Very clean and beautiful!
That they where dog friendly
That they hire people who aren’t even dog friendly, this guys demeanor from the moment he walked up to us was already real aggressive so him approaching us the way he did set out dog to bark once at him we told him it’s cause they way he approached us that set him off because he was perfectly fine with everyone else up until that guy from the casino floor approached us, but to him he was a danger to others cause he barked we wore kicked out of the casino….
The rooms were nice and clean
The bathroom doors are glass, see thru and super flimsy not stable.
The pools were a big reason I chose this place but the pools were extremely dirty and moldy and not at all what was advertised. I would say the mold would be a health hazard.
