an easy overnight
Pros:

good for an overnight. host was helpful and very accommodating due to my own mistake. a tiny bit out of the centre, but quiet area. had everything we needed for the few hours we were in there.

Cons:

low coombed ceiling wasn't suitable for us as we are both over 6ft and the bed was a very small double (again, for our height) which is just unfortunate, one of us ended up on the sofa. a bit too warm.

It was the perfect place for our night away/visit to York, will definitely be staying again in future

It’s a short walk into York and was a lovely little apartment perfect for our stay

Cons:

It was a bit noisy on the night due to the pub next door but nothing major and quietened down by about half 12/1am

Good location, probably wouldn’t use again because of lack of staff/help if needed.

The shower didn’t drain, when I got back on the evening and had a shower I found myself cleaning a whole pool of water up. I attempted to call the number provided for 24/7 help but didn’t get any answer or call back the morning after. Tried several times and had to deal with the issue myself.

It is in a good location, only a short walk to the heart of york and has everything you need for a comfortable stay

Cons:

The air-conditioner didn’t reach upstairs so it got rather hot. A portable fan would be good to have and the bar next door can be rather noisy but it ends at midnight
