Great value for a larger family! Very clean and love the breakfast too.
Hotel staff welcomed us warmly. King suite was nicely equipped. Enjoyed nice dinner in restaurant. Unfortunately we could stay for reception hour in bar with complimentary drinks. Went to Destiny Mall right across the street to see Leanne Morgan comedy show. Enjoyed greatl complimentary breakfast next morning and relaxed with a swim in the pool before 12pm check out. Recommend the Syracuse Embassy Suites and would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great getaway!
Hotel was beautiful. Staff very friendly.
Great food and amenities including nice pool, golf simulator, great restaurant and comfy rooms.
I highly recommend this hotel for all company events! We are Davis Almer have been very fortunate to be using Embassy destiny for quite a few years now for all of our hotel accommodations for all of our business trips Summit and holiday parties. There is nothing more that I could say about Valerie at Embassy suites destiny! She is an amazing asset to the company and has been very supportive for all of our needs five stars all around for this hotel.
Amazing
Location, and the breakfast.
The pool is gross. Was slimy. There was bugs crawling all over the walls in the corner of the room. There is an additional feel of $15/ night to park as well.
We loved the accommodations. Very clean, comfortable, and the staff was excellent.
The breakfast was slightly disappointing but it could have been just our preferences!
This hotel is a great choice if your priority is being close to Destiny USA. You can’t beat the convenience for shopping or quick access to the mall. That said, if you’re visiting Syracuse University or want to spend time downtown, I would strongly recommend staying closer to the city center—Uber rides from here add up quickly.
The hotel itself makes a solid first impression. The lobby is modern and inviting, and both the bar and restaurant are genuinely good. The gym and pool are also better than expected for this type of property.
The room layout is particularly well-designed, especially for families. Having a separate bedroom and living area makes traveling with kids much easier. While the rooms are a bit worn and could use some updating, they’re still perfectly serviceable.
One note of caution: the sofa beds are clearly older. They creak loudly with any movement and aren’t nearly as comfortable as newer designs, so plan accordingly if someone will be sleeping there.
The biggest drawback is the weekend atmosphere. The hotel seems to attract large groups—birthday parties and tournament teams—which can significantly impact the experience. Think groups of a dozen kids with minimal supervision. To their credit, the hotel does try to manage it, including having security respond to noise and hallway disruptions.
Still, the volume of guests can be overwhelming. The pool was packed to the point of being unusable, happy hour was shoulder-to-shoulder, and breakfast was so crowded that finding a table was a challenge.
Overall, this hotel works well for convenience and families who want space, but if you’re looking for a quieter or more relaxed stay—especially on a weekend—you may want to consider other options.
Very clean
Room service could have been better.
The property was clean, room was spacious. Walk to mall was great.
The property was great. I thought the amount held on my card was supposed to be 150 but it ended being over 300.00 that was really the only issue, and the pool being so many kids not being supervised. But my 3 year old did get time at the pool early morning without all the kids. So she did get to enjoy herself. I would stay here again.
Service. Size of room. Comfy beds
Not being told of the 250$ extra fee
Easy check in. Comfy beds lounge was great
Not being told about the extra 250$ hold fee
