Beautiful and quiet, but the food and service fall well short of what a 5-star property should offer
Pros:

Peaceful, quiet location. Very clean throughout. Good choice if you want to disconnect completely from noise and crowds. They also have a nice garden as part of the property. The weather was perfect (last week of May).
They offer free of charge a shuttle to the town (leaves at 10.30) and back (picks you up from the city at 15.30) which was a nice touch (considering the location and lack of services, a must).

Cons:

Empty minibar (not even water; could pre-order 24h in advance some chocolate and alcohol package), no room service, no lunch service. A two-hour gap with no food or drinks available anywhere on the property (pool bar closes at 17:00, dinner starts at 19:30). Hot breakfast only on request, with a long wait each time. Fixed dinner menu with minimal choice. Suite had two twin beds instead of a king, mattresses kept shifting apart.

Tranquilidad total.
Pros:

La tranquilidad, la paz que de respira en el lugar es increíble.
Todo muy limpio, el servicio muy bueno. La habitación simple pero limpia y con lo necesario.
Camas cómodas.
La piscina y el entorno es espectacular.
La comida muy buena.
100%recomendable.

Cons:

La TV hacía bastante ruido cuando la encendías.
La ducha tenía poca presión.

Great value, friendly staff, nice facilities and private internet in our room!
Pros:

We absolutely loved everything! It’s one of those places where you feel welcome from the very first second. The staff is genuinely kind and takes great care of the guests. Every dish we had was incredible, paired with the good service, it made for a great combination! There’s plenty of space to enjoy your stay and privacy but, most importantly, return home feeling recharged! 🙌

Pros:

Sehr gut geführtes Hotel mit außergewöhnlich freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Personal. Etwas abseits und ruhig gelegen mit täglichen Schuttelbus zum Strand in Maspalomas. Saubere, gepfegte Zimmer mit sehr bequemen Betten. Hervorragendes, abwechslungsreiche Frühstück (da wird mit nichts gespart), excellentes Abendessen. Großer Pool und schöne, weitläufige Gartenanlage mit mehreren lauschigen Plätzen zum entspannen.

Der Luxus ist die Lage
Pros:

Einziger echter Luxus war die sehr ruhige Lage mit Aussicht.
Die Hotelanlage mit ihren im großzügigen Garten verteilten Ruheoasen lädt zum Entspannen ein.
Unser Zimmer 205 war ausreichend groß für 2 Personen mit Gepäck mit bequemen Betten.
Großzügige Tiefgarage mit ausreichend Stellplätzen.

Cons:

Dem eigenen Anspruch an an Luxus Royal Retreat wird das Hotel nicht gerecht. Vom Standard-3* Frühstück mit zwei Marmeladen-Sorten über gewöhnungsbedürftige Menüabfolge, oft liebloser Zubereitung der manchmal nur lauwarmen Gerichte (die sonst heiß serviert werden), einfacher Speisenqualität bis hin zu fehlendem Service am Pool. An vielen Stellen ist Investitionsstau erkennbar. Es fehlte irgendwie Leben im Hotel, womit nicht lebhafte Gäste, sondern genügend aufmerksames Personal gemeint ist, was dem Gast ein gutes Gefühl vermittelt. Auch bei der Abreise zeigte niemand Interesse an unserem Feedback. Ach ja, kläffende Hunde am Pool und in den Fluren würden wir auch nicht in einem solchen Hotel erwarten.
