Einfache Unterkunft, sonst nichts!

Da fällt mir gar nicht viel ein.
Die Lage ist o.k.. Ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zur Innenstadt und 20 - 30 Minuten bis zum Cocos Beach.
Die Anlage ist soweit gepflegt, die Zimmer sind sauber.
Alles in allen solider Durchschnitt.

Cons:

Mit den Fotos bei der Buchung ist das so eine Sache. Es sieht alles immer ganz nett aus, bis man die Unterkunft wirklich sieht.
Mein erster Eindruck war 'in die Jahre gekommen', nicht sehr wohnlich, simpel, bloß kein Teil zu viel. Die Couch war fleckig, der Küchenteil (alles ein Zimmer) lieblos ausgestattet und der Waschtisch so weit nach hinten versetzt, das man sich nicht richtig waschen kann. Das Bett hatte simple (saubere) Laken.
Der Check-In war unpersönlich. Man muss sein Gepäck selbst über eine steile Treppe in die 2. Etage tragen und das Wichtigste für den Vermieter war als erstes sofort die zusätzlichen Gebühren zu kassieren ( Wichtig: beim Vorweisen des Fähr-Tickets wird es etwas billiger, also nicht wegscheißen). Das alles ist für manche verwirrend. Ein paar Bocken Englisch
(oder -Selbstkritik- Spanisch) wären da sicher von Vorteil.
Die Terrasse, die für uns sehr wichtig ist, bestand aus einer kleinen Ecke mit harten Holzstühlen und Zugang zur nächsten höheren Etage. Mein Tipp: Oberste Etage wählen, da ist eine größere Terrasse, und keiner stapft vorbei.
Manchen Leuten ist das alles egal, die sollen sich in Casa Sofia wohlfühlen.
Wir würden Casa Sofia nicht mehr buchen.

Pros:

This was probably the best stay on our whole Mexico trip! To begin with, the entire property is beautiful, designed in harmony with the surrounding nature. Our rooms were spacious, airy, extremely clean (there is meticulous room service every day), and the beds are very comfy. We found the location to be ideal - just ten minutes walking from the "center" and thus away from the noise. Super peaceful days and nights. Absolutely worth it. I would come back here anytime.

Struttura ottima in posizione perfetta a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro e lontana dai rumori.
La pulizia è eccezionale e la disponibilità di Luis è straordinaria. Assolutamente consigliato.

Casa Sofia is a great place to stay in Holbox. The room is beautiful and spacious, very cleaned and nicely decorated. Luis was a perfect host, he was very welcoming and gave us a lot of info and suggestions. The room is slighty outside the center (which is though reachable with max 5-10 min by foot) and for this reason is very quiet, which is fantastic. Highly recommended!
