Pros:

The whole hot tub/pool area was amazing. Breakfast was good and kept well stocked. The staff were above and beyond. The place does need a little maintance vut overall it added to the quaintness. And the plane out front and her history were very interesting and fun.

Weird, Wild, Quirky
Pros:

A hotel with its own Boeing C-97 Stratofreighter where luminaries like Farrah Fawcett once posed. A hotel where you can cozy up to the fire in an old hairdryer chair. A hotel where you can sleep in a teepee, an igloo, or a hot air balloon. Why? Why not.

We did not book a themed room, though they looked very... interesting. Our "normal" room was still plenty quirky. Dated, yes. Run down, for sure. But clean. Mostly.

Located a short distance from the equally weird, wild and quirky "House on the Rock", the Don Q Inn would seem to be the perfect compliment.

You can stay in a nice resort or a boring hotel anytime. You only get to stay in the Don Q Inn once. If you're lucky. Take that as you will.

The hotel staff was friendly and checking in with easy the only complaint I have is that our bathroom shower had mold and wasn't very clean as well as the tub. The fridge in our room smelled horrible and one of our TVs wasn't working overall it was a good experience and I would stay again I just hope that they improve on bathroom cleanliness

I really enjoyed this place. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and the pool is great. I do miss the restaurant that was next door but great restaurants are just down the road. Highly recommend the experience!

Pros:

Beautiful and charming hotel! Didn’t stay in one of the themed rooms but the room I did stay in was nice and big. The area is beautiful and scenic.

My only issue was that the rooms were constantly humid.
