Best Western Plus Astana

Breakfast awful. Everything is cold and does not taste good. Looks like they're preparing food at the evening and giving to us a next day.

Straight-forward check-in and comfortable stay. Road at the front of the hotel is busy so if you are a light sleeper I would maybe suggest asking for a court-yard room. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Food and drink options were both very good in terms of choice, quality and cost. Centrally located so easy to navigate Astana from the hotel. Overall I would recommend of you are staying in Astana.

Rooms are ok. The service in the restaurant is totally abysmal. We have ordered food three times and three times the orders were wrong. The man behind the bar is aggressive and interfered with the conversations, took one hour for food to come, music was turned up when asked to turn down. How is this place still running. May i add that the ladies here are good at their jobs ,and I have no issues with them.

Great stay as we started our Intrepid trip. The staff were very friendly & always there when needed.
The breakfast was excellent with a great range of food to choose from. The staff in the restaurant were excellent.

Old dark very old hotel never remodeled, dark hallways, dark rooms, breakfast pretty bad. Excellent reviews are fake....

We planned this trip 6 months in advance. Originally we were set to stay at the Ritz Carlton but ultimately landed on the Best Western because their amenities looked good while the costs would be substantially lower than the Ritz. The atmosphere was what you would expect at these prices. That is, it was decent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating up until our last day. We had a 2am flight out, which meant we would go to the airport before midnight. We had originally considered checking out of our hotel the night before to save money, but ultimately decided that it would be nice to have the room to rest and shower before taking our overnight flight, so we paid for the last night even though we left at 11:30pm. We spent our last day sightseeing that including walking several miles all over the city. It was hot, so we were needing to shower by the time we got back to the hotel in the early evening. When we made it to our room just hours before our flight, we discovered there was no running water. This meant no toilet, no sink and no showers. The hotel staff insisted they had given notice of repair work that needed to be done on the hotel plumbing, however we were never told anything. Instead, there was a sign posted at the elevator with what looked to be fine print in English on the bottom. We never saw that posting which meant we were completely unprepared. There was literally nothing the hotel could do for us…no facility anywhere to go to the bathroom, to brush our teeth, or least of all take a cold shower. Since they could not provide the most basic of services on our final day, there was no reason for us to stay and not just simply head to the airport. I asked the staff to please give us the courtesy of one night’s refund and they refused. In my opinion, anyone staying at the hotel should have been refunded for that night, and I told them that. This incident made us regret our decision to forego the Ritz.

I would NEVER stay at this hotel, the Best Western Plus in Astana. Nor would I recommend them to anyone else. Absolutely terrible.

J'ai passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel, j'ai dû attendre la 2e pour avoir de l'eau, mais je n'ai jamais eu d'eau chaude !
En plus de cela, l'hôtel me réclamait un paiement supplémentaire avec insistance jusqu'à la veille du départ pour un check-in anticipé qui est pourtant bien inclus avec le VIP access. Surtout que mon seul intérêt en récupérant la chambre plus tôt était de pouvoir me doucher, ce qui ne fut évidement pas possible sans eau...
Quand même quelques employés sympathiques comme l'indien de Delhi au bar !

Never in my life have I seen a takeaway breakfast prepared with such disregard.
Inside: an opened (!) yogurt, an egg, some pastries, and a dirty apple all just tossed into a plastic box.
Spoon? Napkin? Water? Haha, of course not.

It honestly felt like leftovers scraped from the kitchen.
Not a breakfast, but a “here, choke on it” kind of gesture.

The hotel personnal was too busy to serve their business clients. I even have to order more toilet paper from the main desk.

Garbage bin was full from previous guests and glasses for drinking water were not clean having lipstick stains on them:(( overall room was clean and great bed, hada nice sleep👍

considering price and location this hotel is good for business purpose.

Wonderfull location, helpfull stuff

Rather average hotel - not horrible and not great. One the positive side: big rooms, cleanliness and perfect location in the city centre. On the negative side: breakfast, noise from outside and frozen pizza in their restaurant.
