Pros:

Friendly staff. Location was great. If i could say anything negative it would be that the bathroom is in meed of a full make over and have 1 in each room BIT for the price and somewhere to lay your head it was great

Pros:

The promotional photo must be at least 25 years old as looks nothing like that. Room was shown as a double single and had 1 single on casters that moved if you rolled over. No heating. (small portable heater in room that didn't work). No fly screen on windows. Room fit out would be around 40 years old! Could hear everything said in neighbouring rooms. Electric leads and power boards throughout due to lack of powerpoints. *Note, hotel fails any safety audit as there are no evacuation diagrams, one of the exit ways had fold up beds in it obstructing passage. The "exit door" at then end, which is unmarked takes you outside onto a section off roofing that has has a timber walkway built across that appears to lead to a ladder. Carpets are torn. Definitely insufficient fire extinguishers. Overall, worst place I've stayed in since about 1976. If authorities inspected, it most likely would be closed and infact under regulations, should be. (Foot note, I'm a retired auditor)

Pros:

This 50s style hotel is excellent value for money. Although not modern and stylish, the room contains all the aspects for a comfortable stay plus there is an additional common room with full facilities for preparing and eating meals

Pros:

Whilst this is no Taj Mahal, everything was fine for a place to rest your head after a long day on the frothies.
Staff were excellent from check-in to leaving, they couldn't have been friendlier or welcoming.

Pros:

The window to the ensuite leads on to a hallway inside the motel?? Overall I did have a good stay here, considering the very low price I paid. Value for money - this place nails it. It's pretty close to the Launceston CBD, has excellent parking, and the room was clean & bed comfy. Weirdest bathroom configuration I've ever encountered and would not recommend if you're sensitive. I have no complaints about staying here, and would come back if I was broke. Thank you team!

Close and walking paths to all tourist things. For the price you get what you pay. Room is very old. Friendly staff. City centre just a few blocks away.

Pros:

Easy access to the CBD. Parking close to accommodation. Hotel was fully booked which is Great. Downside was we got the last room available which has a shared bathroom. Hasn't been a problem previously. No toilet paper in the Woman's bathroom, Shower was out of order. Not advised at check in. No light bulb in the Male Bathroom. What are maintenance doing? Meals were generally well priced except for the Tassie Scallops.
$35 way over the odds for a dozen button sized scallops meagre salad and chips.
