The whole experience of the hotel was excellent. The staff were really helpful and friendly. This is a little gem and I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone. It was great value for money.

Wonderful stay but could be improved for the cost.
Pros:

The bed was really comfortable. The staff were really friendly. The restaurant was exceptional.

Cons:

Our room was above the spa and there was music playing till 12pm that we could hear from our room. The additional fee to use the hot tub wasn’t clear when I booked and seemed excessive.

The hotel was lovely and the room was exceptionally clean. The food was good, and overall the stay had a lot of potential

Cons:

The experience was let down by the spa. While spa access was included with our room, we were surprised to find that using the outdoor pool cost an additional £25 per person. I can’t see how £25 per person is deemed acceptable for access to a small outdoor pool for only one hour — it felt unreasonable and really took away from what could have been an otherwise excellent stay.

Great spa hotel for a short break
Pros:

Staff were all brilliant. Food (didn’t go to Blok) was delicious and varied. Spa facilities were great.

Cons:

Lots of rules about what could be accessed when - and as a resident we couldn’t use the outdoor spa pool without a charge.
