Excellent breakfast

Breakfast was good staff at breakfast Ellen and Kiara were super both definite assets. Room was unbearably hot, insufficient fans, small, cupboard for hanging clothes was too dark, could not do safe and the hanging pole was more than 6 ft high my wife could not hang clothes as she could not reach. Shower only ran hot they tried to fix but to no avail. Should have moved us. Otherwise room was well furnished. Dinner was excellent as was breakfast. I went to compliment chefs on duty

Beautiful hotel, deco and vibe very boutique.
Used the pool area after 5pm as part of the deal. No access granted to the outside plunge pool, as this is extra charge - £25 per person for 1 hour , ridiculous and disappointing, especially as it was deserted, such a shame.
Dinner service was very good, food very good not 100percent my thing, but obviously high standard. Over priced,
Breakfast was absolutely lovely in a beautiful setting. Service there was excellent, sadly wouldn't return as there are alot of hidden charges,

I chose to stay at Lanelay hall for a break away to cardiff with my sister. The whole hotel was absolutely stunning, and service was fab. They very kindly upgraded our room to a deluxe suite and I don't think we've ever stayed in a more luxury room - two floors with a huge comfy bed, sofa and a lovely bathroom upstairs with a freestanding tub and shower, and a walk in closet 😍. The room has everything you could need - range of toiletries, bottled water and a tea tray with a large selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and nice biscuits. Dionne did a lovely job of preparing our room for us, it was spotless. We didn't opt for the breakfast however the bar and dining areas were beautiful. The indoor pool which guests have access to at certain times of the day was lovely too, very peaceful. I will definitely be returning to this fabulous hotel in the future.

Staff polite , friendly and very professional.

The staff were ok ( not super helpful !) and the country was dealing with a heatwave so they did give us two fans but because the windows don’t open all the way we were still dying of heat !! ( we’ve since been to other hotels that have portable AC units ) so this can be rectified !
We think the hotel was wrong to sell the place as a resort and spa but tell us we can only use the pool indoors to cool down in such heat because they sold out day passes to other people to use the spa ! This is NOT RIGHT! To pay that money and only be able to use from7-10 am or after 5 pm !! So we spent that day away ! And that is not great service !
The restaurant BLOK … food was exceptional and we throughly enjoyed our dinner - the steaks were really really great ! The rooms were large and clean and linens great etc … but my big complaint is the price does not reflect what we were expecting in this lovely hotel called spa and resort ! Disappointed !
