Pros:

Excellent stay! The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, creating a very pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing everything needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel's location is also very convenient, with easy access to everything. Overall, a wonderful experience — we would definitely choose this hotel again!

Pros:

Perfect location though the street below can be noisy at night. Nice clean room, plenty of hot water in the shower, friendly English speaking staff. Good value for your money.

Cons:

Wi-Fi wasn't working well at times.

Double DD Has Lots of Potential and Is Worthy of Consideration
Pros:

The location is excellent. Double DD is just off of Taksim's Istiklal Street and within a five-minute walk to the Shihane Station in the Galata area. There are lots of late-night bars and restaurants nearby. The rooms are nice, comfortable, and well-maintained. Front desk staff is adequate, yes, but staff seems to lack focus when it comes to attentiveness of customer service and hospitability.

Cons:

The bathrooms were nice but cramped. The sink was "quite literally" the size of a book, which made it difficult to wash my face without covering the floor (and my feet) in copious amounts of water. The bathroom is unusually narrow and cramped, and I assume this has been done to maximize the living area of the room. Think of the sort of restroom we find on an airplane. Bathrooms are very important.

Pros:

I liked that the hotel is close to the main street and the metro, that payment is in cash upon check-in

Cons:

I didn't like that the pillows were hard, the towels were thin, there was practically no soundproofing, you could hear street noise all the time

Pros:

Séjour globalement correct grâce à un personnel vraiment très sympathique et accueillant, toujours disponible en cas de besoin.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est plutôt pas mal, pratique pour se déplacer et profiter des alentours à Taksim.

Cons:

Plusieurs nuisances sonores ont gâché le séjour : bruit de chasse d’eau très présent, vibrations régulières le soir (toutes les 2-3 minutes), ainsi que le bruit des bars situés en bas de l’hôtel. Cela rend le repos difficile, surtout la nuit.

Dommage, car avec une meilleure isolation, l’expérience aurait été bien plus agréable.

Great location, really friendly staff, good value for money

Cons:

the first day and night it was very cold, when we arrived the windows were open and the heating only works when the electricity card is in the room. Later, they gave us an additional card so that the heating would work all the time, but it took all day and night to heat up, the heating is quite weak
