Lovely hotel, but the real selling point is the amazing service. Special shout-out to Destiney, Anthony and the whole valet team; kind, courteous and engaging, extremely accommodating. We visit Charlotte 3-4 times per year, always look forward to the Kimpton experience.
Easy walk to the stadium and good restaurants.The rooms were spacious and nice. It had a fridge with stocked mini bar options. The pillows and bed were very comfortable and the restaurant in the lobby was delicious for breakfast! Get the pizza!

Clean rooms ... except not sure what brown stains are on the carpet .. had a text asking about our experience and I said GREAT .. I sent the pictures below of stained carpet and asked what could they be but never received a response .. (only bad experience at hotel)
Super friendly helpful valet staff especially Destiny Destiny and Mar .. they both remembered our names .. the whole staff was quite helpful
We had a wonderful long weekend here celebrating 4th of July and my daughters birthday. The staff was exceptional- which is rare these days! Every staff member we encountered was so kind and helpful- from the valet, bellman, front desk, and cleaning crew. They made sure my daughters birthday was magical. The hotel is extremely clean and has the best views of the baseball field. We definitely recommend this hotel for a unique experience seeing the baseball field from your room! The rooftop bar was a lot of fun with most people in the 30-40 year old range. The line to go up was very long, but as hotel guest we got to go right up without a wait.

Excellent service from the moment I pulled into the property- everyone from valet to front desk to restaurant was approachable and welcoming. Caroll was my valet and honestly I can't say enough good things about him. He's funny, personable, attentive, respectful, and builds a connection. With as busy as it was on a Saturday afternoon, no one there made you feel like you had to get out of the way. They smiled at everyone. It was awesome! Thank you for a memorable experience and we'll definitely be back for a third visit
Going to the Kimpton is always a great experience, but this time the relay was noticeably incredible! They were quick and personable and friendly and just made the whole experience really great. I use valet often at other hotels and this one one was impressive! !

The room was beautiful and so nice to stay in. We had no problems with cleanliness. Destiny was great with our valet services and was quick and efficient with our bags. Loved our stay in general and would definitely return.

Everyone was incredibly kind and friendly especially Mar. Mar was always smiling and willing to help us when we needed it.
The only issue during our stay was the elevator that stopped halfway up to our floor and wouldn’t move for over 4 minutes. No one answered the alarm when we pushed it and the elevator didn’t start up until someone else called it.
Ok, maybe two issues. The room could use a little TLC. The toilet seat was loose, the bathroom door handle would come off and there were weird brown spots on the carpet. So I bundled the second issue.
Excellent service. I was surprised by how friendly and helpful every person we came in contact with at the hotel was. From the valet stand, front desk, and restaurant, we received to notch service. Highly recommend. The park across the street was a wonderful place to walk our fur daughter.

Safe, clean, comfortable, close to all the things we planned to do.
The property was great. From coffee and tea downstairs to comfortable beds and great views. Maybe a keurig in the room would be nice.
