Pros:

The waffles were good for breakfast. The staff was very nice and professional. I really like the retro theme; it took me back to my childhood. It was funny seeing my grandchild trying to figure out the rotary phone.

Cons:

The breakfast was very sparse. Full of sugary items. I would have liked to see more protein. I tried the pre-packaged hard-boiled eggs, and they did not taste right. I threw them away, and I hate waste.

Our stay was relaxing, comfortable and convenient
Pros:

The suite was nice and comfortable. I know it cost money to upgrade but I think some type of lvp or tile would be better for your housekeepers and customers.

A quirky, fun place to unwind, rest and connect with folx in kinstlion
Pros:

The staff is friendly and accommodating. The property is such a cute retro vintage vibe! The pool with fountains is a special touch and the extras like mini- golf and the swing are playful extras.

Cons:

I hate to say this. The waffles are horrible--I'm sure it's the batter. The breakfast is a little hit or miss on fruit and pastries as well, but I just make tea and make do until lunch. I would come back again..

Loved this unique motor lodge and its staff, highly recommend
Pros:

Decor, theme, pool and pool area, beds, and all the staff was welcoming and friendly

Cons:

We went to a free music night in town, and while most of the locals were very friendly throughout our stay, the women that night were not. Not to me, anyway. They were fine with my husband who is white, but lots of dirty looks and snubs for me. Was it because I’m Chinese? Well, I guess you’d have to ask them, but I’ve faced this before, often in small towns. And since no one there knows anything about me, I’m pretty sure that was it.

Well beyond what I expected. Will definitely stay again.
Cons:

Unable to contact motel directly. Had to go through booking.com to update room. This was an awful experience. However, I realize this is not Mother Earth's fault.

Was fun to do one time.
Pros:

Room was much larger than expected. Adequate seating for family to come see us at the hotel. Was interesting to see all the old items from the '70's. Enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and attentive. While breakfasts was very, very lackluster unless you like waffles, the restaurants in town make up for it.

Cons:

Don't drag your feet getting to breakfast. Starts at 6am and by the time we got there at 7am, most things were gone. Same 3 pieces of bread were there for the 2 days.

Pros:

Everything was truly an experience. Wonderful place to stay.

Cons:

There were some extremely loud guests checking in very early hours of the morning. However the hotel can only request they tone it down.

Great stay awesome vibe must stay
Pros:

Very retro walking distance to fine dining and treats. Putt putt on property as well as shuffle board ping ping and nice pool. Rooms were very comfortable and updated.

Cons:

No elevator, walls thin. Not a lot of non fancy dining near by.

Worth the money
Pros:

Did not do the breakfast but was advised of the hrs of breakfast and location

Cons:

I think having a microwave in every room could enhance the room however I was in a pet friendly which did not have a microwave or separate sleeping area
