Nice looking on the approach. We got a room on the side. The exterior was worn. Might of helped if the outdoor area was swept. The room was very clean
The beds were very uncomfortable. Walls very thin but people were quiet during sleep hours.
A quirky lodge to stay in-eg and old fashioned telephone! Shiloh restaurant opposite served an excellent breakfast and the Forest street pub, an easy 10 minute walk away, served a delicious meal. It has an outside pool and a hot tub, which we didn’t try, and a games room. We drove through the White mountains nearby, which looked beautiful with a light dusting of snow.
The proprietor was unenthusiastic about the mountains, but we loved them, the roads were good (ok plenty of potholes) and easy to navigate.

Clean, welcoming & nice amenities
What breakfast? Nobody informed us that breakfast was available.
The HVAC system was very noisy—and disturbed sleep. Even with door open, heat didn’t reach bathroom, which was frigid. Dog in next room barked constantly at dawn as neighbors prepared to depart.
The scenery was nice, inside the hotel room the decor was very cute and cozy!!
The beds were not very comfortable and made my back hurt. The jacuzzi tub in our room was WAYYYY more smaller then in the pictures. More suitable for one person. The public jacuzzi had dirt at the bottom of it and looked like no one had cleaned it in quite awhile.
Convenient
Furniture needs replacing, bed was old and uncomfortable. Chair needed recushioning.
Staff were incredibly friendly, the location is the perfect midpoint for anyone wanting to see both Vermont and New Hampshire like we did, and the rooms are clean and cozy.
Good location and facilities. Was close to our motorcycle course as well as a Walmart to get anything we needed.
Price was a bit much for a one-night stay for one person (approx. $150) considering the rural location and there was nothing going on (fairs, events etc.) to cause a pricier stay for such little needed accommodations.
Conveniently located. Impeccably clean
Pillows were too thin, had to pay a resort fee despite this not being a resort.
Perfect place to stay
