Wasn’t happy that I got told my reservation got canceled last minute since I live far away

I can’t say anything about it because my reservation got canceled last minute

Cons:

I did my reservation through booking.com and it was confirmed and everything but once I got to the hotel to check in I was told my room wasn’t available it got cancelled because of overbooking so I had to drive to other hotels to hopefully get a room that same night.

Refreshing for what I paid for
Pros:

The room was large and had everything you needed. The outlet wasn’t working for the coffee maker but the coffee downstairs was easy to compile even while holding a dog in arm. The bed was super comfy. Only complaint was the air was humid but the air conditioner kept it cool. Don’t forget to turn on the automatic ice maker if you want ice otherwise I magnesium to save a bag of ice to make it another day.

what breakfast?? coffee was good

Cons:

room temp was hard to regulate very stuffy or freezing cold. asked for hand soap for bathroom but none was available so was given dish soap.

Fun Weekend
Pros:

I have rented 4 rooms for a group of girls that take a trip to Des Moines from this hotel for several years now. I have never had any problem with this hotel. the staff is friendly and efficient.
rooms were always clean and we love the big refrigerators. Just be sure to turn icemaker on when you arrive .
Any problems Shanda the manager is wonderful.
I recommend this hotel to all
