Arcade Beach Hotel

Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Inhaber der Unterkunft waren auch sehr freundlich und haben uns einen Late Check Out ermöglicht. Das Frühstück war sehr ausreichend und gut. Die Lage war sehr toll und es gab viele tolle Bar‘s im Umkreis.

The location is good right on the beach but far from town and restaurants.

We had a delightful one-night stay at Arcade Beach Hotel during our trip to Sri Lanka, and it was an unforgettable experience. Though a small place, the hotel offers an incredibly cozy and peaceful atmosphere. The best part? The beach is just a short walk away, giving the feeling of having a private seaside retreat all to yourself.
A special appreciation goes to Ms. Shashi, our host, who made our stay truly comfortable. From the moment of booking, she maintained great communication, ensuring everything was ready for our arrival. Upon check-in, she personally guided us to the rooms, took note of our breakfast preferences, and made thoughtful arrangements so we could enjoy the morning meal while overlooking the sea. Her kindness and attention to detail created a warm and welcoming experience.
If you’re looking for a quiet, scenic stay by the beach with personalized hospitality, Arcade Beach Hotel is a wonderful choice. Highly recommended!

The hotel owner was unbelievable, could not do enough for me and extremely welcoming. I felt like part of her family. Also the breakfast was different every day and the owner set up a table in front of the ocean, which was perfect!

Everything was great, clean/tidy and comfortable.
Breakfast was super delicious and host was the most friendly and beautiful person, we felt very looked after and cared for during our stay. Host was also very helpful with tips around the area

Great place, lovely staff, cheap price super nice breakfast. Room is minimal but has everything you need, nice location on the beach super recommend. This keeps asking me more that’s it .

Fabulous location right on a quiet, long stretch of beach.
Room was big & clean, and had a sea view. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
Shashi was a great host, providing delicious breakfasts every morning, and helping out with tours etc. Great value for money, would recommend!

It is definitely a unique experience. Warm and genuine hospitality, excellent value for money. Recommended if you’re looking for simplicity and peace of mind.

The Room downstairs is quite simple. Breakfast was Wonderfull
No warm water ,but that was not a Problem

The owner is a very nice and creative lady. The breakfasts are very rich, something different every day, the table is decorated. They can swim about 1.5 km to the left in the bay near the Wasana beach hotel, where the waves are not so big.

The hostess is a very nice and pleasant lady. We were here for several days and the breakfasts were a little different each time, beautifully arranged. No stereotype. We had breakfast in the garden overlooking the sea. Across the road is a shop stocked with everything. Swimming is better in the bay to the left of the accommodation, about 1 km, from the Wasana beach hotel. There are not as big waves as along the coast. I recommend Ayurvedic massage & Shirodhara

If u want long sandy empty beach, have breakfast on the beach, jums to ocean from your bedroom, spend days under the palms, have home made breakfast and meals just behind the fence, spend peacefull days away from busy crowdy places- its right place to stay as long and short term. A/C and fan, im some rooms litle fridge wifi well working, not many visitors so u can have lot of private space around, late check out, even after u can spend time in the area, not far some shops, fruits shops, many restaurants, sandy clean, long beach, without rocks or stones, ocean not so deep. Amazing host. Dont forget bring some gifts for her little daughter.
