Foyles of Glasbury

Great hotel, excellent service and staff, room was large, comfortable with an excellent bed. Restaurant was excellent with good food served well.

My daughter and I, stayed for one night and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Are room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We had a meal in the restaurant, which I must say was excellent. We also had a delicious breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel .

The hotel is maintained to a very high standard, the rooms and common areas were all very clean and well presented. Comfortable bedding and fluffy towels. Really nice little touches all round. Breakfast was very good and staff made a great suggestion for a nearby walk.

A great hotel in a lovely village, with mountain views and river walks. Beautiful decor, nice sunny courtyard for drinks, and the bar is not overpriced. Staff were very busy on arrival, but still attentive and efficient. They work hard and it shows, immaculately clean with great service. Breakfast is fab too. Would stay again if we are in the area.

Lovely room as always, but this time we noticed that breakfast had changed. No lovely continental option and only one a la carte choice. Breakfast was in the bar area and the floor was rather grubby. Certainly not as clean as in previous stays.

Spacious rooms, well appointed, very good shower, comfortable bed including pillows. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent dining available with delicious meals very well presented. Fair and affordable prices for dining and accommodation.Would definitely stay again.

We just stayed here for a long weekend and had such a lovely time. The rooms were very nice and modern, friendly staff and the food was amazing.

Very welcoming greeting on arrival. All staff wanted to provide professional service, with a smile. Rooms and all fittings are high quality and food is excellent.

This was our 4th visit to Foyles and it never disappoints. The room was fantastic, the food was amazing and the lovely staff make you feel right at home.

A lovely hotel, very friendly and professional staff. Nice decor and a spacious room with superb amenities. Only 2 factors for not a good nights sleep were personal preferences; the bed itself wasn’t great for me, personally, as it was hard with hard pillows. But some may prefer this. Also the room is lovely and light and airy in the day but at night it was too light for me. The early morning sunlight light floods in through from the glass bathroom door and artificial light in from the hallway under the door. Overall it was a nice hotel and the staff were excellent though.
