This hotel is an absolute dump. The rates are extremely high considering the poor condition of the property and the lack of services provided. The hotel has significant maintenance issues, including an elevator that has been out of service for an extended period. Guests are forced to carry their luggage up multiple flights of stairs without any assistance, which creates a serious inconvenience, especially for individuals with disabilities or mobility limitations. The overall cleanliness is unacceptable. Trash is left sitting in the hallways for days at a time, and housekeeping standards appear to be lacking throughout the property. The complimentary breakfast is very limited, consisting primarily of cereal, frozen sausage, and watered-down orange juice—and even those options may be unavailable if you do not arrive early. The guest rooms show extensive wear and damage, with little evidence of proper upkeep or maintenance. Despite the absence of advertised amenities and ongoing maintenance issues, management does not offer discounts or accommodations to affected guests. Perhaps most disappointing is the staff’s response to guest concerns. Employees seem indifferent to the numerous problems throughout the hotel and show little interest in resolving issues. During my stay, I spoke with several other guests, and nearly all shared the same complaints and frustration regarding the condition of the property. Overall, this hotel is overpriced, poorly maintained, and does not deliver the experience it advertises. I would not recommend staying here.

My wife and I stopped for the night in Florence on our way from Tennessee to our home in Michigan. We were not expecting the professional level of customer service we received from the moment we approached the check- in desk. MAJOR COMPLIMENT TO HANNAH who warmly welcomed us and immediately made us feel at home. She was friendly and very professional in explaining all the amenities of our Comfort Suites stay. We asked her if there was a ground floor room available to which she checked and accommodated us. Again, Hannah was professional, detailed and very friendly. What a great experience she provided to us and kudos to the entire CS Staff! I enjoyed using the clean workout equipment the next morning as well as delicious breakfast. Will stay here again!

Clean nice hotel

My wife and I have used this hotel for many years. We always enjoy staying there and its location is perfect for our needs. The one con I have is the dining room furniture. Two years ago I committed that the furniture in the dining area needed to be reupholstered or replace as it was in less than perfect condition. Fast forward to our recent stay and same dining furniture is still there and still needing to be reupholstered even more so. The hotel is such a nice place to stay but the dining area is an eyesore and one of the first thing you see when you enter the hotel. It would really be a benefit to the hotel if you gave some attention to this suggestion.

Cleanliness!! Comfortable beds and clean linens and the bathroom was very clean! This is a big plus for us! Very affordable and good location.

Great location. It was easy to find and get to. Plenty of parking. It was very clean. The staff was very friendly! I would definitely stay here again.
