It was close to eateries, a supermarket and the CBD
Pros:

The room was big and the common area spotless

Cons:

It was quite hard to find - even with taking the photo. Perhaps a big map on the floor would be helpful

Cons:

Bracing existing in the room, without mentioning in the description. This is a H&S hazard.

You’d have to pay me to stay here again
Pros:

Room clean, relatively spacious. Interesting reuse of what was once an old office block.

Cons:

You need a sense of humour.
A single staff member at check-in was condescending to the point of being obnoxious.
The place is like a maze. Poorly signposted, no staff to help with directions, just a complicated “map” shown when checking in. No help given, just the bored-looking single staff member sarcastically repeating himself again and again, holding up his “map” about where to go (you're not allowed to take a copy of the map with you).
No external windows, just a blind to cover the windows looking into the passage. The room must have been an office once.
Absolutely no soundproofing. Could clearly hear other guests’ conversations, and then two of them actually started having sex next to the adjoining wall. Glad they were getting happy, it’s always good when a relationship starts budding, but it was impossible to sleep properly through the subsequent noise and banging.
(Oh, and Darren, if you're reading this, I hope you did call her like you said you would when you left. It was her room, and she sounds like a good sport.)

I wouldn't want to stay there again
Pros:

The only thing I liked was the location.

Cons:

I feel the rooms are not suitable for a hotel; you can hear a lot of noise from the other rooms. It was a bad experience.

Pros:

Easy check in

Cons:

The floor was incredibly dirty and under the bed looks like it hasn't been touched in months. There was garbage from previous guests still on the floor when we got there. The wifi was terrible and the nature of the room meant the signal was poor as well. Wouldn't recommend it until they hire people capable of cleaning the place properly. Even for a cheap hotel cleaning wasn't up to standard.
