Pros:

The bed was comfortable, good shower pressure.

Cons:

There is a constant rattle from the venting pipe in room k2. The tap also has a split in it so when you turn it on it sprays water on the wall.

I just needed a place to stay the night b4 venturing back up North from the South Island, so it was good.

Cons:

The bed was very hard. Bit of a mission getting there. Had to ask someone where it was.

Tegengevallen en niet schoon.
Pros:

Locatie was geweldig. Koelkastje (prive) op kamer, erg fijn

Cons:

Geen raam/daglicht in de kamer, kastje plakt van viezigheid. Gedeelde keuken erg vies en slecht onderhouden. Gedeeld sanitair redelijk in vergelijking met de keuken.

Fine overnight stay in the central city, a but noisy
Pros:

It is a basic hostel in a good location. Easy check in, clean, bed was fine.

Cons:

My little wing had a lot of loud people through the night - some rooms are more individual, mine was on a shared corridor with a lot of loud drunk people. Nicer room and more private than a hostel, but somewhere between a hotel and a hostel in terms of noise.

Cheap and convenient
Pros:

Bed was comfortable. Common area was ok. Toliet and shower were clean and warm.
Public transport across the road. Very close to Te Papa.
Extremely noisy person on floor above thumping around at night.
Price was worth the noise.

Cons:

Walking through a dirty area with mail boxes full of overflowing junkmailetc all over the floor when entering the hotel reception.
While the bed was comfortable there were long black hairs on the bed.

saved by insufficient funds
Pros:

nothing

Cons:

It's difficult to locate the entrance, and our booking was cancelled as the card had insufficient funds / no phone call. We just arrived, thinking we would be checking in, and were told it was cancelled. Really poor customer service. We found somewhere nicer to stay so it worked out
