A truly magic place
Pros:

Wonderful hotel, calm and relaxing athmosphere. Historic building, every detail fits and the staff is very attentive and very friendly. Hotel offers a pick up service from the railway station, which I recommend - no cars allowed in the city. Hotel staff will then arrive and transport your bags to the hotel.

Calme, confort, beauté du lieu et accueil au top.
Pros:

Nous avons eu l impression d être accueillis comme des amis. Beaucoup d attention autour de nos besoins et de notre confort. Le petit déjeuner était excellent et varié.
Le système de navette avec la gare est très appréciable car il permet d arriver à l hôtel en voiture

Jing’s Residence was unique relaxing historical break in between Shanghai & Beijing! AMAZING!
Pros:

The location and setting was like I was in a period Chinese movie! The bed provided the best night sleep I have had in the past 10 nights in China. Crystal spoke wonderful English & gave us some great recommendations for lunch.

Cons:

You can not travel to Pingyao as a U.S. citizen without a visa. My one son was using Transit Without Visa and was unable to join us. He stayed in Shanghai & met us in Beijing. Crystal refunded us for his room.

Elegància discreta. Quan l'ostentació s'esvaeix, l'emoció pren protagonisme

L’hotel és preciós, una antiga residència tradicional amb pati, reformada amb detalls contemporanis. És un lloc molt discret, que no es percep fins que hi entres i que, un cop dins, et transporta en el temps. Una illa de tranquil·litat al mig d’una ciutat antiga plena de vida.
L’estada és plena de detalls especials, tots pensats perquè es converteixi en una experiència per recordar. Res d’estridències: tot molt discret, però que et va calant. I la professionalitat del personal supera totes les expectatives. La seva amabilitat i predisposició van convertir la nostra visita a Pingyao en una de les joies del viatge a la Xina.
Menció especial per a la Crystal, que parla un anglès perfecte i va vetllar sempre perquè estiguéssim a gust. I els àpats —hi vam dinar i sopar— també van ser excepcionals.
Tot un descobriment: discreció i luxe discret. Perquè… quan l’ostentació s’esvaeix, l’emoció pren protagonisme.
Sens dubte, un dels millors hotels on hem estat
