Do not stay here, really dirty place and extremely rude person in charge (lady)
Pros:

Absolutely nothing.

Cons:

It was extremely dirty, my bed was full of dirt and it stank like something had dead on it. The owner (the lady who I spoke to on the phone) was extremely rude. I asked for a new towel and bed covers, I never got it. I ordered a tea but instead I was given a coffee, and when asked to give me what I ordered as I cannot consume coffee, the server was extremely annoyed by it. Once I reached the hotel , I was also asked to pay more to switch the Aircon, which I had to because the fan was not functioning properly. The toilet was full of mold and was dirty and the towel had the same dirty smell as the bed. I would not recommend this place at all.

Not my first stay there. It’s realy very close to beach

Cons:

Not working a/c that administrators said it’s in booking said (it’s wrong). But he tells us u can pay 2k to make a/c working - triple rooms all with a/c. No trash can in room

Location was perfect. The premium rooms were good value and nice, the other rooms/side of the hotel not so nice

Cons:

there wasn't really a staff / receptionist presence at all, no one to welcome you or to ask questions to if I needed help with anything.

Ich hab das Personal vor Ort geliebt! Sie waren sehr nett, hilfsbereit und freundlich! Sie haben den Aufenthalt nochmal schöner gemacht :)
Preis-Leistung kann meiner Meinung nach kaum besser sein. Ich hab vor Ort dann spontan noch um einen Tag verlängert!

Hansa is wonderful and the owners and staff so friendly and welcoming
Pros:

The most beautiful family and staff members who made you feel welcome and settled. Prime location for a pot of tea whilst watching the surf. Perfect for surfing the point. Fruit salad was just amazing. Will be top of my list when I return. Highly recommend this traditional hotel. If you're looking for modern and glamour go elsewhere, if you're looking for authentic Sri Lankan and the nicest people Hansa is for you ! Lovely to meet you Usha , we will return.

Cons:

It's unfair to say as they are in the middle of some construction which won't last forever. We would have loved a Seaview but were fully booked for the beach block. Our room was closest to the road which we were concerned about but was surprisingly quiet and peaceful plus the bonus of new build, rooms and furniture. Being seconds from the beach meant we could sit in the restaurant for the view.
