Everything! Great food, exquisite rooms and beautiful location.
There could have been more choice of dessert.
Great location. Very spacious and cosy room. Lovely and dog friendly. Stunning soft furnishings. Very comfortable bed.
Bathroom a little tired.
We are repeat visitors and the standards remain extremely high. The garden area has matured too.
No complaints at all!
The restaurant was amazing. Garden is beautiful with a fire pit and a great selection of drinks. Staff in the restaurant couldn't have been friendlier. Comfy bed and nice and quiet.
Beautiful
We had room 2/ the only one directly to the street Side& Party Garden from Restaurant of the Next Hotel…- All the other rooms are perfectly quite!
This place was stunning, beautiful building and grounds, the location couldn't have been better. The lady that checked me in was lovely, polite and helpful. The bed was like a big puffy cloud and I slept very well. The shower was powerful.
It was such a beautiful place that was spoiled by the standard of cleaning, the room was lovely but hasn't been properly cleaned for sometime,it wasn't just a few things accidentally missed, it was unloved by whoever is the cleaner. Cobwebs and spiders, I counted five spiders, the headboard was wooden slats and between each was thick dust and more spiderwebs. The bed base was tatty and frayed with stains and a blood stain. The sofa base was stained too. The toilet seat didn't fit which makes things uncomfortable and ugly. The window frames had mould and clearly not wiped along with the dirty windows that made the view of the beautiful garden cloudy. It's clear the cleaner has no love for this place which is a great shame because for £170 it's not value for money. I have stayed in many different hotels and even hostels and this by far was the dirtiest, I stayed in a few £40 a night hostel which was immaculately clean. It's an absolute gem that needs polishing
The food was wonderful. Lovely staff
Nothing but two suggestions. Maybe grab rails in the bath area for older less mobile guest? Coasters to protect the bedside tables?
Bedroom was small; getting in and out of bed was difficult; bathroom well equipped but larger than needed; unfortunately no hot water
Great location and lovely rooms
Staff were great and hidden garden and restaurant was lovely
A superb spacious room elegantly decorated in an understated Welsh chic style.
The breakfast, served at the table was very good.
The evening meal did not meet expectations.
The main course comes with absolutely no vegetables all of which have to be ordered additionally as sides which considerably increases the cost.
For the money paid it fell short as being just pleasant rather than exceptional.
