Pros:

When I couldn't find a room in the hotel I wanted, I found a room in this hostel. Cleanliness is very important to me. I read in the comments that it was very clean. When I arrived late at night, I said let's stay here for 2 nights and then move to another hotel, but we were satisfied. The hostel was much cleaner than I expected.

It'a an amazing location, but it's a quiet place, great to take a rest

Cons:

I barely haven't seen any of the staff, the receptionist guy is either sleeping in a hall or he just wasn't there. Couldn't find anyone to clean my room or change towels. I understand it's out of season but if the property works then I think it's at least a minimum to expect to have someone to ask for the service

Cheap and Cheerful for One Night Stay
Pros:

Great location - after arriving from Kos by ferry, we walked to it quite easily from Bodrum Cruise Ship Port. The staff printed a boarding card out for us for no charge.

Cons:

Fridge had defrosted and there was a puddle on the floor which we did not see till we stepped in it in our socks.

Perfect location!
Pros:

The location was perfect, the rooms were a bit "retro" but we didnt care. It was well functioning for us. Totally worth the money when travel with a budget like we did. Will book again next time.

Son derece memnun kaldım, odadaki herşey çalışıyordu. Sabun ve şampuan vardı. Personel ilgiliydi. Kumbahçe nin kalbinde ve meydana 5 dakika yürüme mesafesinde. Fiyat performans olarak çok iyi. Ben uyku , WC ve duş beklentisi ile gittim, tüm ihtiyaçlarımi karşıladım. TV, buzdolabı, elbise dolabı, komodin, sehpa, klima, saç kurutma makinesi, sadece odada 6 adet priz, banyo hariç 3 lamba. Ayak , el ve banyo havlusu ayrı ayrı , tuvalet kağıdı mevcut. Detaylar bunlar.

It was exactly what you need. Extremely close to the main areas you want to go to - one minute to beach, one minute to all the bars and shops. The staff were very relaxed and quiet, but I liked that. It had chill, low key vibes. The hotel gets the job done.

Pros:

This was my second stay at Durak Hotel, and once again, I was warmly welcomed by the staff. This time, I stayed with my husband, and we were given a lovely room with a beautiful view of the Bodrum sea. The room also had a small balcony, which was especially convenient for drying towels and clothes after beach days.

I particularly appreciated the mini bar in the room — a small detail, but one I truly enjoyed.

The main reason I chose to return to Durak Hotel is its excellent location — right in the heart of Bodrum city center, yet tucked in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood where mostly locals live. It feels very safe, and the environment adds authenticity to the experience.

You’ll find restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets literally just steps away, and the best part: the beach is only a one-minute walk from the hotel.

If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to offer a late checkout option, which would make the experience even more flexible.

Overall, I highly recommend Durak Hotel and would definitely return again.
