Pros:

I made reservations ahead of time, but by the time I arrived at 10 p.m., the hotel had somehow overbooked and was full. I was told there were no rooms. I was traveling alone with my young child, it was late, and couldn’t imagine going back out to find a hotel from scratch in an unfamiliar city. The clerk on duty problem-solved quickly and creatively, offering to put us in a room that was technically closed to guests because of a broken shower. He took $100 off for the inconvenience. The whole exchange took about five minutes, and we were in our room getting ready for bed. Thank you so much, Chris!

Nice facilities, great location. The things that need attention are simple fixes.

Breakfast and coffee station were fine

Cons:

Housekeeping was not good at all. On one occasion, after not having serviced the room for three days, they removed the towels but did not replace them. The front desk had to be called for someone to bring towels to the room. I complained the next morning to the front desk, who assured me someone would service the room that day. While they took out the trash, the bed cover was thrown across the bed without the sheets being remade under it. Additionally, the room had not been properly dusted in some time, as there was a significant layer of dust coating the telephone in the room.

Will definitely stay there again
Pros:

Will stay here again. One of the great breakfasts and coffee we have had. All the amenities were furnished also plus location was not real noisy area either.

My pull out sofa bed the first night had no bedding on it so I had to make it myself both nights when my kids and I stayed there.

Pros:

The hotel, itself, is nice enough, however, it is extremely noisy. It has a busy highway on one side and a very busy street on the other side. Doesn't matter how comfortable the bed is, it's not going to block out the noise.

Maintenance nightmare
Pros:

I would not return to this location too many maintennance issues, jetted tub didnt work, switched rooms and had more problems, the phone did not work, the tv had a red tint on the screen the ice machine had no ice. My pass key didn't work for the pool area so i would have to go to the front desk to have the manager on duty to walk me to the area to use her key. The staff was slow to respond to most issues. The room next to mine had an alarm that went off each morning at 4:30 am. I choose Holiday inn express often when traveling this was by far my worst experience. And the staff is either under trained or uncaring. My stay was around labor day 2025 the hotel has too many maintenence issues i would return to this location

Put coffee makers back in rooms!
Pros:

To begin, the staff is very nice and helpful. The issues are management and corporate. The elevator has been broken since November...it is now April with no resolution in sight. Walking to the third floor with baggage is not good. There also seems to be an issue with the hot plates in the breakfast area as they keep going out. So half of the breakfast was cold. Finally, the huge corporate issue is the removal of the coffee makers from the room. It is ridiculous to have to get dressed to walk down 3 floors to get a cup of coffee in the morning. With a coffee maker in the room, I would have my coffee while preparing for the day and go down when I was ready. Also, the coffee is not nearly as good in the new machines. This corporate change will stop me from staying at IHG hotels even though I am a Diamond Elite Member.
