Pros:

服务非常非常好，退房后在屋里留了个不要的盆，前台还以为是我忘记带走了又赶紧给我打电话确认。环境整洁，停车方便，早餐很丰富！

Nous avons été extrêmement déçues par la suite de l'hôtel et par la piscine rudimentaire.
Pros:

les petits déjeuners étaient corrects mais 1 peu limités en choix

Cons:

manque de rangements pour les vêtements, aucunes armoires dans la suite pour 4 personnes
Pas de place pour étendre les serviettes de bain dans la salle de bain, manque des étendoirs.
chambres très humides
Connexion wifi pas stable
Pas de mini frigo dans les chambres
Manque de café disponible, seulement du thé est proposé mais non renouvelé.

Piscine rudimentaire = Bassin très limité, accessible que sur le 1/4 de la surface pour la détente. Les autres lignes étant réservées aux leçons de natation.
Beaucoup de services manquants = pas de serviettes disponibles, vestiaires pas très pratiques.

at the city centre - plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. good bus connection to major attactions

Cons:

While Holiday Inns are relatively consistent across China, this particular hotel falls well below average. The staff speak no English (unfortunately, this is becoming more common these days); the cleaning service is sloppy; the toilet and shower have an awkward layout; there is no refrigerator in the room; the air conditioning is poor; and the breakfast selection is very limited.

Exceptional
Pros:

Location was a bit further away from the sites in Chengde, but still more in the heart of the city than others, which made for a nice break. Breakfast was good - room was really spacious! The hotel staff was generous enough to let us check in when we arrived, which was early morning. That allowed us to maximize our time out and about in Chengde.

Pros:

Comfortable room, great location near supermarket, Lawson and a great BBQ rest. Good breakfast.. Kind staff

Cons:

We ordered some omeletes although the kind staff provided us fried eggs.
The indoor pool was acceptable but the showers/changing rooms require a renovation (not shower gel, no towels), Kind staff but no English knowledge

Overpriced for what it offers. Was expecting a lot more from a Holiday Inn.
Pros:

The size of the room is nice. And the sofa by the window a nice featute.

Cons:

The lamp on the desk was not working. The air condition was malfunctioning. The carpet was dirty. The breakfast was very very mediocre, they didnt even have butter! Staff could speak english, considering that this is a holiday inn. If not all, at least one of them could have a very basic understanding of the language...as in answering a simple and very very common question in a hotel, such as what is the wifi password

Pros:

The location is central on one of the main streets, the room was spacious and had a fridge, the bathroom had all the necessary toiletries, there was breakfast and the watermelon was tasty.

Pros:

Convenient location and cheap room rate.

Cons:

The room reeked of nicotine and mould, asked to change to a non-smoking room, which was not accommodated. The room was also old and tattered. Found a few strands of hair in the bathtub.
