Lovely stay in Mirissa
Pros:

We had a lively welcome and the check-in was smooth. The room was great, the pool was nice. It's on a walking distance from the beach and in a very lively area. The breakfast has everything you can think of and even more!

Cons:

As we were with a 6yo the glass bathroom was a shock but the curtains did their job

Per gli standard dello Sri Lanka la pulizia di questo hotel è altissimissima! Devo dire che mi ha colpito anche la struttura in sé molto bella e la colazione top

Ma nulla in particolare se non la piscina troppo cupa… e il fatto che non possano arrivare i taxi per via della mafia dei tuktuk che colpisce tutta la zona… non è colpa della struttura

Pros:

Pool and room were amazing.
Location right by coconut hill - walking distance to the beach.

Cons:

Breakfast was good - lots of options.... however most of the items in the silver serving dishes were unfortunately cold (one morning they had forgot the candles that heat up underneath). The staff were more than happy to heat stuff up, however it was a pain to keep asking for this.

Una suite che ti resta nel cuore
Pros:

Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di trovare una buona offerta per la suite con piscina privata e quindi abbiamo scelto questa tipologia di stanza. La stanza è enorme e arredata con gusto, abbiamo trovato prodotti da bagno, ciabattine, accappatoi e tutto il necessario per te/caffe. La vista era meravigliosa: coconut tree hill, l’oceano e una grande stupa.
La pulizia era impeccabile e ogni giorno la stanza veniva ripulita alla perfezione (non scontato in altre strutture).
Belle e pulite anche le aree comuni, buona la colazione a buffet, personale davvero gentile e disponibile.
Posizione a due passi da coconut tree hill, un po più distante da Mirissa beach che è comunque facilmente raggiungibile con una passeggiata o più rapidamente in tuktuk o noleggiando uno scooter.

Il pagamento con pos era in usd o euro quindi commissioni molto alte rispetto al pagamento in rupie

am extremely critical when it comes to hotels, but I felt very comfortable there. We only spent one night there, as it was a last-minute accommodation, but if I were to return to that area, I would definitely choose this place again. It is located on a quieter street, within easy walking distance to the main road (about 10 minutes). If needed, you can take a tuk-tuk, as walking by the roadside might not be the best option with children. There aren’t any proper sidewalks there.

Pros:

Triple O Six was one of the most beautiful accommodations we had in Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived, we immediately felt that this place would exceed our expectations — and it truly did.

The room was impeccable, and the bathroom was huge. We really appreciated the pleasant scent in the room, as well as in the common areas of the hotel. Another detail we loved was that after the first day, the shower gel in the bathroom was refilled — a small thing, but it shows great attention to detail.

The swimming pool is large and almost always empty, very well maintained, and looks great.

We had breakfast at the hotel and enjoyed both the food and the way the staff treated us. The employees were attentive, kind, and genuinely took care of us, which made the experience even better.

The hotel is also very close to Coconut Tree Hill, which is a big plus.

A small tip for future guests: there are many tuk-tuks waiting in front of the hotel, but always negotiate the price. A fair price to reach the central area of the resort is around 400–500 LKR. Never accept the first price you are offered — it’s always much higher. Asking for around 50% of the initial price usually leads to a fair deal.

This is definitely a hotel we will return to without hesitation.

Very overpriced for what it is. Breakfast was mediocre. WiFi was broken virtually the whole time we were there. Bath filled too slowly to actually be worth running one.

Pros:

Rooms were spacious and nicely decorated, situated on the outskirts of the resort with a 10 min stroll to the main beach, breakfast was good. Nice pool but very shaded and not as big as the the marketing images imply.

Cons:

We stayed for 5 nights and from the 1st day we had trouble with opening and closing the patio doors (the only door to get in) and on many occasions has to be left open. This was reported daily yet not resolved! From the 2nd day we had a strong smell of sewage in the bathrooms again this was reported to reception and was told “yeah this does happen at times” the next day they put some chemicals down and asked that we kept the doors open for some time and a result of this my partner got bitten alive by mosquitoes in the room on the 4th day they offered us an alternative room yet we were leaving the following morning.

The hotel was ok but would not rate this as a 4 star
Pros:

The hotel was clean and in a great location.

Cons:

The pool wasn’t great if you wanted to sunbathe as it’s covered by trees. The lobby area is dated and wasn’t like the photos. We felt the staff could have been a bit more attentive.
