Beautiful hotel with exceptional service
Pros:

After I had to change hotels I chose to come to the Yangthang Heritage. Not only did the accept my last minute booking but also prepared a room immediately. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful with painted carvings throughout and is only a short walk to the market road. The dining was very good. The true highlight of my stay was the service. The service was exceptional and above and beyond anywhere I've stayed. If my travels ever return me to Gangtok the Yangthang Heritage will be my first stop.

Pros:

The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Although I think the hotel rooms and shared spaces could get some upgrades the service was very kind and this made it overall an enjoyable stay.
