Excellent responsive staff who were very helpful.
Location was not bang in Downtowm but central enough.
Our stay at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver was truly unforgettable. A special thank you to Joshua for going above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. His kindness and attention to detail made my father and me feel incredibly welcomed. This trip was very meaningful to us, and I’m so grateful for the wonderful memories we made. Thank you for an amazing stay!
Nothing — our experience exceeded our expectations.
Spent 10 days between conference and holiday so the high floor water view definitely worth it. King room was good size with decent bathroom and large walk in shower .
Conference food was way above average! As was the gala dinner .
A nice surprise.
A great location, steps away from water taxi, BC Place, restaurants and the Casino. Main floor and restaurant was decent and Victor's steakhouse on 6th floor was excellent.
A very nice hotel in a great location. The hotel feels open and fresh. The rooms are large and airy. Bathroom is good size too. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is good. Close to Granville Island by ferry and a 20 min. walk to downtown.
Clean spacious and well-maintained rooms. Friendly and helpful staff.
La ubicación, la habitación
Todo perfecto
I called on July 8 10:58 am at 301-380-3000 asking to speak to an event person and the moment the lady say hello she seems irritated, she also was asking a bit harshly and rudely saying : WHY? WHAT IS THIS ABOUT? like someone really pissed off. She sounds tired, angry and not in the mood. if this is how the reception treats the caller how much more the guest? makes me wonder!
Muy bonita la habitación que nos tocó la vista !!!! Suite
Arrived early room wasn’t ready as the front desk had upgraded me. Lounge access given which is as appreciated. We had a coffee and went out to explore. A few hours later I had a message to say my room was ready amazing water views on the 21st floor.
Great lounge here with plenty of options.
Thank you for an amazing stay!
Excepcional muy buen hotel ubicación la habitación el baño la cómoda del restaurante muy buen hotel
El personal muy amable
Superb stay. Wonderful luxury hotel with amazing facilities and staff. Especially enjoyed the first class gym and lounge. Special shout out for Ryan at the front desk for his professional and kind assistance. Will return.
Situated next to the BC Place Stadium, this hotel made our Fifa experience even more better. The design is modern, and the lounge has great food and you can see the Science Center here, where the globe is transformed into a soccer ball. Definitely worth the five star status.
First time staying at the JW Parq hotel and first time in Vancouver. I stay at a lot of Marriotts internationally, mostly the Autograph collection. But in this case, I decided to go for the JW Parq because the views seemed like they would be better. I'm an amateur photographer and splurged for a corner suite, high floor, to take some city shots. The view technically is phenomenal... but there's a film on the windows that makes it near impossible to get a good photo. I'm sure there's a good reason for the film -- perhaps even required -- but I'd never encountered it before and it did unfortunately spoil the experience for me, particularly for the price of the room (well over $700 per night). Even without taking photos, it made the view look like the city was covered in smoke or smog. The room itself also has a weird layout. The small bedroom is sectioned off from the living area, so if you're in the bedroom there's not much of a view. And the living area has a long uncomfortable couch with no pillows for support. Some of the decor seemed tired and needs to be updated. However, the deep bathtub was a treat. That said, there were also a lot of pros to the hotel. The customer service was excellent. The spa is fantastic and the treatments I received were very good and relaxing. There's also a nice relaxation lounge. Room service was actually really delicious -- home-made pasta! And the Executive Lounge is large with a lot of seating areas (though most not comfortable for dining or working). I was disappointed one has to pay for wine, however. The hotel lacks the luxury of the Autograph collection hotels, but is generally fine. I just think for the price of the room, the overall stay was unfortunately just average.
We had a wonderful time at the JW Marriott Parq. The service was extraordinary. From the moment we were greeted at the front door, every staff member was courteous and over the top helpful. We found our room very comfortable and peaceful with a beautiful view of the water. It was so much fun to watch the dragon boats racing from the chaise. The bathroom materials were very similar to the Ritz in Portland. The only downside is that there really isn't a beautiful hang out spot in the lobby, but the executive lounge made up for this. We have stayed at the Fairmont Pacific Rim previously, and actually prefer this location. There is a great walk around the water right outside the front door and you are not next to all the cruise ship crowds. We found the service comparable to the Fairmont. Thank you Parq staff for a very memorable stay. Good luck to Canada in the World Cup.
10/10 experience. I’ve stayed here twice and each time it was perfect. The rooms are spotless and beautiful. The view was great. The fitness room is 10/10. The location is great when you’re on vacation. It gives me Vegas big hotel vibes in the best way. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when going to Vancouver.
The room decor was beautiful, the reception staff were helpful printing out some paperwork, at a cost of course
My first room was above the terrace bar with loud music, I complained and was given a higher room but had 2 hours wasted sorting out the new room . Apparently the 1st room I got are not usually given to guests because of the noise , the manager phoned and apologised, but a small token gesture would have been nice , my request had been for a quiet room I was staying 2 nights and wonder why as a Bonvoy member I had been singled out , need to get more customer service training across the board .
