Xiandai Gloria Grand Hotel Changsha

Excellent value at 399 rmb for the night at this quality hotel. Stayed overnight for a business meeting. My room was spacious, good quality, and comfortable. Staff are friendly. We had our dinner meeting in the Taste Restaurant. Food and service were very good.

The hotel loby and room all good, we stay in 3 room unfortunately only my room don't have complementary fruit, and then I had a wier expirience in the romm as the light switch off 10-20 second after I re switch on, so I called to change the room and the reception sent me the new room key in less then 5 minutes, and my problem solved.

This hotel has a lot of traditional Chinese elements from the decoration to the wall where the bed of the headboard is. Very nice looking. Dinner was ok with some sort of Thai dancing from actual Thai people, I think. Location is next to subway (5 minute walk), but kind of far from city center, but not that big of a deal. Around hotel is surrounded by a lot of immature trees that make it pleasant to walk around when it is cool outside. Staff was ok and room was ok, but outside carpet in the lobby area is a little musty.

This hotel is huge and it has lots of artwork posted all throughout the hotel. Very friendly staff and delicious food in the breakfast area. What I really liked about this hotel was that it has a great view of the area, even though the hotel isn't located in the city of Changsha. Since this hotel is near a metro station, one way to suggest improving this hotel is to make it more convenient for people to walk from the hotel to the metro station. Currently, the only way people can get in and out of of the hotel is the main entrance. We've noticed a side door of the hotel but it's locked from both sides. I suggest that guests entering from the side door should have a key card so it can make things more convenient. Overall, our stay was awesome in this gigantic hotel that's full of art!

Since the hotel was built in April 2014, the room and lobby condition are very good.

Unfortunately, the hotel is a smoking hotel. I could smell the smoke when I walked from my room in the six floor to the elevator.

All elevators have a botton indicating a foot massage floor, but there is no foot massage service at all.

It is very hard to find a foot massage place near the hotel. One or two front desk staff even told me the wrong place, which does not offer the foot massage service.

Overall, staff are friendly and offered me a cell phone charger at free of charge since I lost it on the plane from Shanghai to Changsha.

Grand hotel, ranked 6 stars in china. Very comfortable room and bed.
I supper like their long pillows provided with another medium and small pillows. Room Layout is cosy and nice, but still have some defect around here and there. mainly problem was the panel of the switch board was not proper installed, can easily came out when I remove my plug. The room is big , but there is a sealed cabinet at along the walkway, what a waste.

Stayed here one night on 24-Oct-15. It was a pleasant stay after a long bus trip with a tour. Our room 702 was bright, clean and spacious. The bathroom was clean and bright with bath-up. The bathroom had two doors: one near the front door, one near the bed. Room was sound-proof and free wifi available.

Breakfast served many varieties and tasted delicious. Staff was friendly. It was a nice hotel... too bad we only stayed one night in Changsa.

Overall this hotel was very clean and breakfast had a variety of selection which I like :) Definitely recommend this hotel! This was based on first impression, I would come back again. Total stay 2 nights.
