Pros:

The location and the employees were great! There was a huge variety for breakfast and a very kind man who kept filling up our chai cup.

There were barely any mirrors, except in the bathroom. I missed it while getting ready for the day.

L'espace café/restauration du 32 e . Belle vue

Cons:

Les chambres et Suites sont petites . Nous avions réservé une chambre pour 2 adultes et 1 enfant de 11 ans . Impossible de faire tenir le lit d' appoint. Nous avons dû payer un upgrade. La Suite/Studio n'est pas si grande et biscornue . Vue affreuse sur des buildings

Overall, it is a beautiful hotel, but the service quality seems to have declined slightly. I would still recommend it.
Pros:

The cleanliness was exceptional. Room service was fast, helpful, and very accommodating.

The breakfast was better when I stayed here three years ago, but it is still good and offers a wide variety of options.

The reception staff gave us a warm welcome, although the level of attention was better during my previous stay three years ago.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the service at the café inside the hotel, directly opposite the entrance, was very disappointing. The staff were extremely slow and inattentive.

A fantastic stay at Shangri-La Colombo, with one of the biggest highlights being the food. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets are exceptionally well stocked, with an incredible variety of international options. The quality and taste of the food are truly out of this world, especially considering how reasonable the prices are.
What really stood out was the buffet staff. They gave us such special attention and consistently went out of their way to accommodate our requests and make sure we had everything we needed. Their genuine hospitality made the dining experience even more enjoyable.Especially Mr. Sasupun
In fact, I would genuinely consider coming here just to dine, even if I were staying at another hotel in Colombo. The combination of variety, quality, taste, service, and value for money is outstanding.
Another major advantage is the private access to the mall, which makes shopping and dining extremely convenient without needing to leave the hotel complex.
Overall, Shangri-La Colombo offers excellent food, outstanding buffet service, comfortable accommodation, and a very convenient location

Cons:

The rooms are a little on the smaller side, but they are comfortable, well maintained, and equipped with good amenities.
