Pros:

The staff were friendly and very helpful

Cons:

The beds needed to be taken to the tip.
They were extremely old with springs sticking up. Be warned - there are a lot of stairs at this hotel.

The hotel was very conveniently close to where we wanted to be..
Free on-site parking and they allowed us to leave the car after checkout whilst we walked into town.
The breakfast (included in the price) was very good. Thank you to the chef who stayed open to cook us a meal when we arrived within minutes of the restaurant closing.in the evening.
A lot of interesting history associated with the building.
The staff were all friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Cons:

As the name suggests the hotel is on a roundabout so there was a fair amount of traffic noise.
A shelf in the bathroom would be useful.

I have stayed before and probably will do again because of their price and location
Pros:

Good food and a welcoming atmosphere

Cons:

No real ale, they used to have a good choice but the availability of only lagers and ice cold bottled beer was very disappointing

The staff were friendly, the breakfast nice.

Cons:

The room was very tired and the mattress was very old and tired. The windows were equally old and wooden sash and let all the car noise from the roundabout in.

Staff were lovely but the building was very tired and grubby.
Pros:

The burgers we had for a meal in the evening were very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

It was very chilly! The only warm spot in the bar was in front of the fire? But everyone wanted to sit there?? The rest of the pub was cold!

Lovely staff and excellent food would definitely eat there again
Pros:

Lovely lady (les I believe her name was) on checkin and also she served us dinner was friendly and chatty. Food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Cons:

The bed was too soft for our likening I do know that this is a personal choice though.
