Time to chill..
Pros:

The bath was fantastic 👌

Cons:

On arrival we had paid for a room with balcony with bath to get get room with shower.
Spoke to staff to change but meant getting room with balcony if wanted bath as only have 3 rooms with bath and if you want it you have to message after booking
Loud music played from OX restaurant all day/evening via speakers just under rooms
Imagine would be very noisy in summer as weatherspoons under some of the rooms and fun fair opposite ¹

Great value for money
Pros:

Great location. Large spacious room. Comfy bed. Great facilities. Lovely breakfast. Great value for money.

Cons:

You could hear the outside music until quite late but it didn't bother us too much.

Fantastic staff, comfortable bed

Cons:

Really noisy room 124, single glaze windows , could hear all the noise from people coming out of the night club directly across from our room got no sleep.Cold water in the morning for a shower,window in the bathroom blowing in cold air.
Also the hotel has introduced, since our last stay in December a new policy, you only get a hot full cooked breakfast at the weekend we were shocked Monday morning, to get a very poorly presented so called Continental breakfast. Basically a choice of packet youghurt packet cereal brown or white toast very bad ... Not worth the room rate. Unfortunately we will not be staying again.

A well maintained, hygienic and comfortable hotel, ideal for all of central Clacton on Sea visits.
Pros:

Centrally located, easily accessible and about a ten minutes walk with baggage from the main Clacton on Sea train station; this hotel performs very well in terms of comfort, room size and facilities and with smooth check in access. The double room was spacious, with good storage and other space; with a short walk to all the local amenities in Clacton. Lift and stairs. The beach, Clacton on Sea Pier are just in front of the hotel for quick access and viewing. On Friday, excellent cooked brekkie.

Cons:

With breakfast options; before Friday, there is a very limited, basic continental style breakfast if included. On the Friday onwards-there is an excellent cooked breakfast option, very well presented and quite tasty in the roomy restaurant.
