Guest Reviews
The entire space feels open, designed for both comfort and a sense of spaciousness. We both are enjoying a tranquil and laid-back ambiance in this room. I especially love that drinking water tap installed on the restroom's wash basin table top, clean and convenient. We also love that e-Bidet toilet bowl and the Nespresso coffee machine.
There is a lot of dust along the edges of the bed sheet and it makes me itchy. I gave feedback to the lobby counter staff when he asked me during check out. Further, I have few gentle feedback based on a 4.5 star rated hotel guest's satisfaction as below:
1. The mattress is uncomfortable because it is sagging, the pillows are uncomfortable too. My hubby can't sleep well the whole night.
2. The Nespresso machine should be "clean and hygienic" for the next guest, luckily I clean it with 6 rounds of drinking water until used coffee grounds are removed and water turns to clean.
3. The rain shower head, some of the nozzles are blocked.
Here is my constructive feedback, not malice.
This is something you wouldn't know unless we told you.
Overall we both are enjoying our stay here.

Good location, good amenities as room was large and spacious. Room service was also good

Third time here. Everything was nice, especially the services. It was a very pleasant stay.

There is quite a lot of damage/wear in the room fittings and furniture. One of the toilet light fixtures was broken and detected from the wall. Then level of maintenance does not match the prestige that the Sofitel brand carries.
Breakfast is excellent with good range of foods and pod coffees Staff are the friendliest Hotel staff I have ever encountered
Location not great. Stores and restaurants around the area of Damensara are limited.
I didn’t like at all at check in when told 4000 MR is taken from my credit card and have to wait up to 21 days for this amount to be re credited to my Visa card.
My complaint is that cleaning staff entered my room without my permission while I was out. I was only staying one day and had only checked in a few hours ago; I didn't need them to change the towels or make the sheets, right? Every guest has their own privacy and may leave important items in the room. Please ask the hotel to be mindful of this. Thank you.

Rooms are quiet and well decorated, personnel are polite and friendly
Minibar is empty; I understand it must be a choice, but it doesn't save energy - the fridge is still on - and if you arrive from the airport at 3 am you might need to find something there. I'd also suggest to revisit your assortment of food at breakfast: many things but nothing inviting.
