Station Hotel

No reception its not an hotel cleaning boff i dont recomend in order to enter i lost an half day no one anders the phone i trier and trier i booked serval days the first day i needed to stay at another hotel i don recommand i never go back to this rbnb

Delighted to find this lovely hotel in Aalst, very close to the train and bus station. Full of old-world charm unlike so many cold sterile hotels today. The proprietor Christophe was very welcoming and helpful. Spacious room, with very comfortable bed and armchairs and everywhere very clean. Lovely garden with seating to enjoy a drink from the honour bar. Great buffet breakfast included. If you like warmth and character, this hotel is for you. Thank you Station House for a lovely stay.

Excellent location. The owner was very helpful with directions around the village and suggestions for dinner.

Charmant smaakvol gedecoreerd oud pand. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Stijlvol gebouw in centrum maar moeilijk te vinden doorontelbare wegenwerken op dit moment.

The property itself is a grand dame getting a bit tired in a very elegant fashion. Reminds me of French Quarter, Louisiana USA. Or the set from the movie "GiGi" with Leslie Caron, right down to the draperies and furniture. I loved it. If you like Ibis hotels, this is not for you. You are better off to pay for staying in a larger room on a lower floor, rather than the 3rd top floor, aka, the attic. Parking is not good. Like all of Belgium, ppl drive and park like maniacs. If you find a spot near the hotel expect to pay 4 euros for 2 hours (Max time) from 9am to 7pm. Credit/bank card only. Sunday free. Usually you are going to have to walk to the hotel. I was travelling alone, and it got creepy in the dark. At times, I felt like running.😳 Although the cleaning staff was very kind, I could never get a handle on about what time they would knock. I denied them a couple times because it was not a good time for me. The owner asked when I was going to let them in to do maintenance. Probably when I am not in the shower. The following day they didn't knock, just left supplies at my door. Confusing. Breakfast was perfect! Sum it up...elegant quirky hotel in an active city. You will hear sirens, trains and ppl all hours. The community areas show better than the rooms. Parking is horrid, the staff is very nice. The owner is on premise and quick to assist. The breakfast offered is high quality. And they have a private garden. CCTV cameras are in the bldg.

It was amazing experience at station Hotel. It is near to aalst center shopping. It is a cosy hotel.

The hotel is situated in one of the older buildings in Aalst very close to the station and the city centre. We were only staying one night but the rooms were big and clean. The host was very kind and we felt very welcome.

What a Find! First of all location is hard to beat and hospitality on site is like in no place other. The moment you step in, you feel very well looked after. Staff are so polite and kind. Rooms very well cleaned, maintained and breakfast all you can wish for. Don’t hesitate to stay here when in Aalst. Will definitely be back!

Great hotel conveniently placed near both the station and the town centre. Although the building is historic and full of antiquities it has all the essential amenities including a lift; & they serve a generous breakfast The staff are very friendly and welcoming.I can highly recommend this lovely hotel.

REALLY GOOD LOCATION, JUST 3 MIN FROM AALST STATION, QUIET AREA WITH A FEW CHILL OUT PLACES FOR BEER! HOTEL BREAKFAST IS VERY GOOD, SERVING FRESH ORANGE JUICE WITH MORE THAN ENOUGH SELECTION, VERY ATTENTIVE SERVICE!

The hotel is quite special, the old fashioned design is nice and funny, the private garden is a great place to relax after a busy day. The bed was comfortable and everything one's needing in a room was there. The guy at the desk was very nice and friendly, so that was a nice experience.

Really nice hotel and the owner was so helpful, friendly, clean and a great location.

It was only a quick visit but the staff were great and the hotel had plenty of character. Handy for the station too.

Liked the location, train station and a hospital in a walking distance.

The hotel is really in the center of the town. Train station is around the corner, and you have plenty of choices for restaurants. You may hear some noise from traffic in the evening, but became quite in the night.

The hotel has nicely decorated living room with full of antiques. Also you can find a spacious garden on the back side with many sitting areas.

Breakfast was simple but has enough things to try and with a good taste.

I have to tell that the hotel owner is really taking care of the property. He is managing every single details and turned the place really friendly, nice, cozy, and welcoming.

Wanneer je het hotel binnen loopt, komt direct de tune van 'Tussen kunst en kitsch' in je op. De meubels, vazen, klokken allemaal in uitbundig barokke stijl; geweldig. De kamers zijn we oud, het bed is goed.

Hotel had lovely period decoration & ornate decor. Staff were friendly & room was clean would stay again. Restaurants seemed a bit sparse in the local area. Was all takeaways. Railway station in short walking distance. Parking is on street parking

Classic old hotel in the heart of old Aalst. Will stay again. Great location.
