❌ The room reeked of cigarette smoke. I stayed for only two nights, but my nose became congested. (I have chronic sinusitis and am extremely sensitive to cigarette smoke and dusty environments.)
❌ The window couldn’t be opened.
❌ The air conditioner was noisy. Very noisy! ❌❌❌❌The air conditioner was so noisy. I thought everything would be fine if I just turned it off. But after I turned it off, I was disturbed by the noise from the bathroom exhaust fan. Then I thought that turning off the exhaust fan would finally give me some peace and quiet. But NO! It was still noisy because of some kind of generator or mechanical equipment in room!
❌ The bedsheet was dirty. (It was white, but the bad smell and the grimy feeling of the bedsheet were obvious.) It made me itch all night, and I couldn’t sleep. I had to lay the T-shirts I brought with me all over the bed and sleep on them in order to be able to sleep.
❌There was so much dust on the windowsill, it was thicker than my foundation.
❌❌❌❌ Worst of all, the strong cigarette smoke made it difficult for me to breathe. The smell even clung to all of my clothes! (I was staying in the room alone, but as soon as I walked out of the room, all of my clothes smelled of cigarette smoke.)
❌The staff’s attitude in their messages was arrogant. They did not use honorifics or proper polite forms when addressing a customer.
Before asking them to help bring my belongings, I had already informed them that I would give them a RM200 tip. I kept my promise and transferred the tip immediately. I also apologized repeatedly for troubling them.
The first time and the last time. It was terrible!
The location is excellent and you can get all you need at the mall. The staff member at the front desk, Goh (彬仔) is very helpful and he provided very good and swift service.
The jacuzzi at the swimming pool is not working well.
I went with my family and was given a connecting room with my parents without requesting for it. The front desk staff (Evelyn) was attentive and gave good recommendations for food around the area. The house keeping staff even attached balloons at our door to surprise my little girl. We had an unforgettable time during stay as the hotel staff went extra to provide excellent service (front desk and housekeeping.)
When we went to the swimming pool, we had a bit of issue witg the facilities. It would great to have someone to guide us along.
