The staff and owners are amazing, so helpful and friendly, made the stay very wholesome! The hotel is beautiful and in an amazing location in the centre of everything.
The hotel has a really central location, but beware that this can mean it will be very noisy at night on the weekends or during busy seasons. And I mean noisy until the early hours of the morning. The staff are friendly, and the breakfast is pretty good, they have a nice little courtyard or tables in the cute alley to enjoy your breakfast.
The room facilities are very basic, the bathroom is old, and the overall design is not very comfortable. I expected more modern bohemian vibes from the pictures, but it was disappointing.
Small family run place in centre of Alacatti. Friendly staff, and good breakfast spread. this is a village house converted to a hotel, so rooms/bathrooms reflect that. Overall value for money wrt location and service.
Omer was exceptional and very polite! He provided food suggestions and places to eat! The breakfast was unbelievably fresh and the best we had through all of Turkey! It's also very central to everything, so no car required for anything. It's a very beautiful but simple room and the cats are super friendly!
You aren't allowed to put toilet paper down the toilet which I understand because the town and the infrastructure is very old. The toilet was also abit cramped and sometimes the smell would come through the room If the doors not closed.
The location is not bad, right on the pedestrian street where everyone walks. But there are some disadvantages, which are described below.
Breakfast is not bad (photo)
1.The room had a window to the patio where breakfast is . It was very dark in the room
2.the stench from the sewage in the toilet was impossible.
3.It was very noisy until 3 in the morning, both from the street and from the courtyard. Someone was shouting or rattling dishes. It was impossible to sleep.
4. The bedding is old and unpleasant.
5. The rooms are not clean
Conveniently located on a side alley in cute Alaçate. Decor was tastefully chosen to complement the vintage building. Breakfast was provided and was lovely.
There were several small issues that when added together, made for a less than comfortable stay. More than once we noticed staff sleeping or lounging on the small couch in the front entrance. They jumped up right away as if they were doing something they shouldn’t. While the breakfast provided was lovely typical Turkish cuisine, we were told that a cup of coffee would be extra. The sheets in the room were bumpy and scratchy from just being old or overused. The pillows on the bed were lumpy and uncomfortable. There was a distinct smell of sewer in the room while we were staying. No fridge provided, no bottled water. Our room was directly over the alley, and unbeknownst to us a bar appeared that stayed open until 2 AM. Needless to say, it was loud. Clean Laundry was left hanging in the aisleway where we needed to walk around it every time we entered our room.
The staff was really friendly. The location of the property was right in the heart of the center. Everything was walking distance. The wifi was very fast. Breakfast was served fresh every morning. Clean room and bathroom.
The noise... The walls and windows are very thin. You can hear the neighbors, and also the people and music on the streets. There is absolutely zero isolation. Music till 1-2am and then the mosque starts around 4. Get ready to take afternoon naps on the beach!
The common area was really lovely, and Omar was an exceptional host, always attentive and thoughtful. The breakfast was great, and the location was very central.
Our room faced the street, leading to noise, and one night we were woken up at 5 AM by someone knocking. At the start of our stay, we found a piece of chewing gum on the floor, and overall, the cleanliness was not exceptional. One day, housekeeping was missed entirely, and we had to repeatedly ask for shampoo and shower gel. Unfortunately, the street outside was not very clean and there was a strong smell of urine.
In conclusion, the stay definitely wasn’t worth the original price of €300, but thankfully we had a discount through Booking. It seems they attract customers expecting luxury, but in reality, it’s just a decent place
